"Or... Orga?"

The iron flower on the screen flashed twice.

"Heh, finally back to your senses, huh? Of course it's me.

Seriously, you idiot, I just barely survived, and you almost smashed me into a moron."

Orga's voice was full of complaint.

Mikazuki blinked, his expression completely bewildered, clearly not having processed the news that Orga was alive. When he came to his senses, his inner excitement showed on his face.

"Is it really Orga? Are you really alive? But... why are you in here?"

"I don't know. I woke up here. I seem to have become Barbatos's auxiliary system, but even though I'm an auxiliary system, I can't operate Barbatos at all. This guy really can only be piloted by you."

Orga was also completely clueless about this. Logically, he should be dead, but now he had become something like a mobile suit system. And this system of his seemed to be able to do nothing.

To put it simply, Orga had become an artificial intelligence, possessing self-awareness, the ability to think, and make judgments, but this artificial intelligence had no other abilities apart from a personality and thought.

Perhaps he did, but Orga himself hadn't discovered them yet.

"I don't know how I ended up like this either, so let's put that aside for now.

After all, compared to this... Mikazuki, you noticed it too, right? This place... isn't Mars."

Mikazuki calmed down after his initial euphoria. He was now certain that the person on the screen was indeed Orga. As for why he had become something akin to an intelligent system, Mikazuki didn't care at all. For him, Orga being alive was enough.

"Ah, it's Earth, right?"

"That's right, it's Earth, but... not the Earth we know."

Mikazuki tilted his head, utterly confused.

"Huh?"

Orga seemed to be getting a headache from Mikazuki's comprehension, his voice filled with helplessness.

"Ah, is it really a bit hard for you to understand? Well... simply put, we seem to have transmigrated. This isn't our world...

Still not easy to understand? Then let me put it this way. This world has no Gjallarhorn, no Arbrau, no Chryse on Mars, and even the Calamity War from three hundred years ago doesn't exist. Understand now?"

Mikazuki finally understood completely. Transmigration... meaning he had come to a new world. He remembered watching similar TV dramas about parallel worlds.

However, even knowing all this, Mikazuki still said calmly,

"So, what do we do next?"

"...You really aren't panicking at all, are you? Logically, shouldn't you be in a state of alarm?"

"I don't like to think, and don't I have you?"

Orga let out two helpless chuckles.

"Heh heh, you really haven't changed at all. I thought you would change after I died."

Mikazuki chuckled.

"You're the same. You died once and haven't changed at all. We... can only move forward, can't we? To reach that place, we promised, we'll go together."

"...Seriously, I think I've said something like that before."

The iron flower on the screen flashed rapidly. Orga's voice slowly echoed in the cockpit.

"But you're right. We promised... to find our place. And Tekkadan can't do without us, right? We have to go back and watch over those brats."

"Ah."

Mikazuki smiled, looking at the screen. Orga's familiar face seemed to appear in his eyes.

Orga immediately decided.

"Alright, since we've decided, what we need to do is figure out what this world is all about. To be honest, I'm completely lost about myself right now, so I need to figure out what's going on with me first. I feel like I have quite a few functions now.

Mikazuki, wait a moment. I'll go figure out my current situation first."

"Okay."

Then the panel went silent. Mikazuki subconsciously reached into his pocket for a Martian date, but found his pocket empty, not a single date.

"Did I eat them all...?"

He sighed and tapped the screen in front of him. The Tekkadan symbol on the screen showed no reaction. He didn't know where Orga had gone inside Barbatos.

Legs, hands, or...?

Mikazuki didn't continue thinking. He opened the cockpit, and the seat rose, reappearing outside. The barren landscape and scattered wreckage once again filled his vision.

Mikazuki showed no emotional fluctuation in the face of this scene. After all, he had experienced many battles, some even more brutal than the one before him.

If one were to say Mikazuki felt any emotion, it would be when his comrades died before his eyes, which was more intense than this post-battle wreckage. Because everyone in Tekkadan was his family, irreplaceable family. Who could remain indifferent when something happened to their family?

His deepest memories were of hearing the news of Orga's death, Shino's unwilling roar before his death, and seeing Hash and their sacrifices on the final battlefield...

Mikazuki's fists involuntarily clenched. He looked up, his azure eyes gazing at the sky, and murmured,

"Kudelia... You... You can protect them for me, right?"

Whoosh! Whoosh!!

"What?!"

Whoosh, whoosh...

Mikazuki pulled his gaze back, frowning. The sound was faint, but Mikazuki was exceptionally familiar with it. It was the sound of Mobile Workers moving with their thrusters. As for the number, because they were far away, Mikazuki couldn't hear it very clearly.

He quickly pulled the seat and himself back into the cockpit and called out to Orga.

"Orga, Orga, are you ready?"

This time, Orga responded very quickly to Mikazuki.

"Almost. Though there are still many things I'm not very clear about... Mikazuki, I detect mobile suits approaching from fifteen kilometers away. And quite a number of them."

"I heard them. What do we do? Should we fight?"

The iron flower symbol on the screen flickered. Orga's voice.

"No, let's hide and observe first."

"But there's no cover around."

Mikazuki looked around. There was no place to hide. However, Orga's confident laughter came from the cockpit.

"Don't worry. I, who have become Barbatos's auxiliary system, have discovered many interesting functions on Barbatos, such as stealth..."

"Stealth?"
