The power of a Dou Di, when measured against the Sun in reality, might fall somewhat short. At the very least, a freshly ascended Dou Di would be in no position to make such a comparison. But a star the size of Jupiter? That was not out of the question.
(A note: During research, some have argued that a Dou Di's power is sufficient to destroy the Sun, and at full strength could rival the entire Solar System. Personally, I find that a bit of an overstatement.)
