The next morning, Teni found a note in the kitchen.
"Meet me on the rooftop at 8 PM. Wear something comfortable — D."
When she arrived, the entire rooftop was lit with fairy lights and takeout containers.
He held out his hand. "Truce?"
She smiled. "Only if you kiss me like you mean it."
He pulled her close. "I always mean it."
And this time... she kissed him first.
