Dami called for a press conference.
Teni stood by his side in a classy blue gown and heels that were trying to kill her.
He stepped to the mic.
"Yes, I married Teniola Williams. No, it wasn't a publicity stunt. And if anyone doubts her place in my life…"
He turned and pulled her into a kiss.
A real kiss. One that said everything he never did with words.
The crowd went wild. Cameras flashed.
Later, in the car, Teni stared at him.
"You didn't have to kiss me like that," she whispered.
"I wanted to," he said. "No press. No fake. Just you."
Silence.
Then she smiled.
"Well… in that case… I want jollof rice."
He laughed. "You're unbelievable."
"And you're late. I wanted it thirty minutes ago."
