Chapter 29 - “ The World Burns For You”

> The sky bled red that night… not from rain, but from vengeance.

Sea was gone.

Boss's hands trembled—not from fear, but from the rage that boiled so deep it cracked every inch of control he ever had. His world had gone dark the moment he stepped into the dorm and found only silence. No Sea. No trace. Just the scent of blood… and a message.

"Come get your toy, Devil."

The dorm door, splintered. Van was the first to see it—he ran to Boss like his own life depended on it, but Boss didn't hear him. Not really.

Nick held the note in his hand. "This is war."

Boss didn't blink. Didn't breathe. He just muttered, "No... this is extinction."

---

Boss didn't go to the authorities. No, this kind of crime wasn't for laws. It was personal. He began with his father's men—called every enforcer, every shadow dealer, every ghost from the underworld.

"I want the names. All of them. Anyone who's ever dared breathe near him."

He didn't care if it was his enemies… or his family. Blood would spill.

---

Somewhere far away, in a cold abandoned warehouse, Sea lay unconscious. His wrists were tied. His lip was bleeding. But his heart… still beat.

He whispered, "Boss…"

A camera light blinked in the corner.

They were watching.

---

Back in the city, Boss kicked in a door—his eyes red, his fists soaked in blood. He'd already broken one man's arm just for lying. Now he was dragging another out by the collar, slamming his head against a wall.

"Talk."

The man stammered. "T-They took him east—someone paid for him, someone big!"

Boss gritted his teeth. "Who?!"

"Your uncle! It's your uncle's men—"

That was all he needed.

---

Nick tried to stop him, tried to remind him to be smart.

Boss turned to him, smiling coldly. "You think I care about being smart? I'll burn this city down before they touch him again."

---

Meanwhile…

Sea stirred again.

A whisper echoed in the dark room. A voice he didn't recognize. Calm, deep, controlled.

"Why would he go this far for someone like you?"

Sea's breath hitched. The man moved closer, a silhouette in the shadows.

He didn't know who this man was… but his smile looked just like Boss's.
