Police officer:
Seal the area! Now!
Ronald leaps on a window of the room and climbed on the nearest house tarrice he quickly changes his look .
Ronald, now disguised as an old man, limps down the stairs with a cane, changed clothes, and a fake beard.
He walks past a police officer outside the house.
Ronald (acting frail):
What happened here, officer?
Police:
Somebody broke into this girl's house and tried to kill her.
Ronald (shaking his head):
Tch... this generation. God knows where we're heading.
He walks off — unnoticed.
Max arrives at the hospital where Riya was taken. Soon, Roy joins him. The scene cuts to an interrogation room.
[INT. HOSPITAL INTERROGATION ROOM – NIGHT]
Felix sits across from Max and Roy, arms crossed. The atmosphere is tense.
Max:
We need to ask you a few questions.
Felix nods. Max sits down. Roy flips open his notebook.
Max:
So, you're Felix?
Felix:
Yeah. I'm from Australia. I met Riya when I moved here for work — about two years ago.
We started dating about a month ago.
Roy (noting):
Alright.
Max:
Did you see the person who attacked her?
Felix:
He was dressed in black, head to toe.
I only caught a glimpse in my rear-view mirror, so… I couldn't see anything clearly.
Roy:
Did you hear anything from inside?
Felix (shrugs):
I heard Riya screaming… something like,
"I know him… yes, I did it…"
But I couldn't make out the rest.
Roy leans slightly toward Max and whispers:
Roy (whisper):
I don't think he knows much.
Max (nods):
Alright, Felix. We may reach out to you again if we need anything else.
They stand to leave. Felix watches them walk out. Once alone, he mutters to himself with a bitter laugh.
Felix (grumbling):
Stupid girl. Died and left me in this mess.
He lights a cigarette, shakes his head.
Felix:
I should've just driven off…
Let him kill her.
