Nick stares ahead, mumbling to himself.
Nick (softly):
But… how was he so sure the police would come to me today?
Nick sits on his bed, staring out the barred window, whispering to himself.
Nick (softly):
Does that mean… after Riya, it'll be Max?

SCENE CUT – EXT. RIYA'S HOUSE – NIGHT
A car stops in front of a cozy house. Riya, dressed in party clothes, steps out. The driver — the man she cheated with — gives a smirk and drives off. She sighs, walks toward the door.
A shadow looms across the street, standing silently on top of a nearby building.
As Riya unlocks the door, a figure — Ronald — suddenly jumps down, pushes her inside, and slams the door shut.

INT. RIYA'S LIVING ROOM – NIGHT
Ronald quickly drags a sofa to block the door. Outside, Riya's fiancé sees the struggle and sprints back, banging on the door.
Fiancé (outside):
Riya! Open the door!!
Inside, Riya grabs a knife from the table, trembling.
Riya (terrified):
Who are you?! What do you want!?
Ronald (calmly):
Revenge.
Riya:
Revenge? For what?! I don't even know you! If you take one step closer, I'll call the police!
Ronald:
Revenge... for Nick.
Riya:
Nick? I don't know any Nick!
Ronald (steps forward, pulling a hammer from his bag):
The man who's rotting in jail… because of you.
Riya steps back, but reaches the wall. No more room to retreat.
Fiancé (outside, panicked):
RIYA!!
(He calls the police.)
Ronald:
Remember anything now?
He swings the hammer — hits her wrist — the knife flies from her hand.
Riya (crying):
I… I don't know what you're talking about!
Ronald (cold):
Fine.
He hits her leg. She screams in pain.
Riya (sobbing):
Aahh!! Yes! I know him! I ruined his life… I framed him for robbery!
Ronald:
What else?
He raises the hammer again.
Riya
I said… I said he tryed to shoot me and missed… his angel.
I forced him to accept all the allegations… in court… for love
Ronald:
Who really did it?
Riya (defeated):
The man outside.
Ronald (cold smirk):
Interesting.
Should I spare you?
Riya (pleading):
Yes, please… please!
Ronald:
You don't regret it at all.
You ruined someone's life… just when he was about to build one.
Riya:
I admit it! I destroyed his startup! It could've been a huge company…
I was selfish.
Police sirens approach.
Ronald (dead calm):
Too late.
He grabs the knife — slices her wrist and one finger — then hits her with the hammer again. Blood splatters.
In a rush, Ronald tosses the hammer into his bag, runs upstairs, and disappears.

Fiancé:
Riya!! Who did this to you?!
Police officer:
Seal the area! Now!
