Chapter 38 - Chapter 38 Getting to know Broki, the paradise of spices

"Uncle Brogy, is this dinosaur your prey?"

Karina's slender fingers gently pointed at the concave wound on the dinosaur's body, her bright eyes full of curiosity.

Although the horned dinosaur's limbs had been severed by Yun Lie, such a massive wound on the prey still made her unable to resist asking.

"That's right! This is my lunch today. Want to try some together?"

Brogy flexed his muscular arm, easily lifting the dinosaur. His hearty laughter echoed in the air, and his big white teeth sparkled in the sunlight.

"I'd be delighted! I've long wanted to try the Giant Race's cooking!"

A hint of anticipation flashed in Yun Lie's eyes. Grilled dinosaur meat, such a novel delicacy, was full of temptation for him.

"Hahahahaha! Follow me!" Brogy strode forward, his steps making the ground tremble slightly.

Yun Lie and Karina quickly followed. Their steps seemed so small in front of the giant, yet they were filled with the enthusiasm of exploration.

Soon after, everyone arrived at an open "plain."

For Brogy, this vast expanse was merely a Small Garden, but in Yun Lie and Karina's eyes, it was already a wide, open world.

Brogy skillfully started a bonfire. Beneath his seemingly rough exterior, he hid proficient grilling techniques.

Flames licked the huge dinosaur meat, fat dripped, making a "sizzling" sound, and the aroma gradually filled the air.

"Behold my exclusive secret spices!" Brogy pulled out an ancient earthenware pot from somewhere, carefully sprinkling the powder inside evenly over the dinosaur meat.

The powder met the heat, instantly releasing a unique fragrance.

Karina, this little fox, leaned in and took a deep breath, her eyes shining with surprise: "Wow! Uncle Brogy, what kind of spice is this? It smells amazing!"

As one of the foodies on the ship, she had a keen sense of smell for various ingredients and spices. This never-before-smelled aroma instantly piqued her curiosity.

Brogy scratched his head and laughed heartily: "I can't name it, but I know where it grows!" His smile was sincere and frank, making people feel incredibly close to him.

"It's a deal! Uncle!" Karina said excitedly, her eyes full of anticipation.

If she brought some spices back, she could have Nojiko make her more delicious food in the future!

At this moment, Yun Lie gently waved his hand, and a huge wine jar appeared before everyone: "Uncle Brogy, care for some wine?"

He knew that Brogy had lived alone in the Small Garden for a hundred years, and fine wine was a rare comfort for this hearty giant.

"Fine wine! My favorite!" Brogy's eyes instantly lit up. He grabbed the wine jar, tilted his head back, and gulped it down. The wine dripped down his chin, wetting his clothes.

The Giant Race's magnanimity was fully displayed at this moment.

Yun Lie was secretly delighted. Fortunately, he had a lot of fine wine stored in his inner world. These fine wines, carefully brewed by Little Kong and Xiao Mei, though young in age, were still fragrant.

"What a joy! I haven't had such a satisfying drink in a long time! From today on, you two are my best friends, Brogy!" Brogy put down the empty wine jar, his face beaming with a satisfied smile.

In his simple world, those who shared good wine were true friends worth deeply befriending.

........

At the same time, a strange ship slowly sailed into the entrance of the Small Garden.

Onboard, a woman with an Afro and a rat-like physique frowned and complained, "How unlucky, why are we sent to such a godforsaken place!" Her irritable tone was full of dissatisfaction.

"This is Miss Merry Christmas's order," Mr.4, a large green man holding a dachshund-style gun, reminded her coldly.

The man with the number "3" printed on his head elegantly raised his coffee cup, took a small sip, and slowly began, "Miss Merry Christmas, watch your words."

He exuded an aura of authority without needing to be angry.

Miss Merry Christmas pouted and said nothing more, her gaze fixed on the distance.

"Prepare to land, find the target, and complete the mission." Mr.3 put down his coffee cup, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

The ship slowly approached the shore, and an unknown crisis was quietly approaching.

........

Back to Brogy's side, under the "fierce battle" of the three, the huge horned dinosaur was quickly eaten clean.

"Hahahahaha! Yun Lie, I never thought! You're not a giant, but your appetite is even bigger than mine!"

Brogy patted Yun Lie's shoulder, his hearty laughter ringing out again.

He had thought his own appetite was astonishing among the Giant Race, but he never expected to be outdone by a human.

Yun Lie gave a thumbs up, sincerely praising, "That's because Uncle Brogy's grilled meat is too delicious!"

Normally, he was quite restrained in his eating, only consuming what his body needed.

But this time, to compete with Brogy and to fully enjoy this rare delicacy, he ate to his heart's content.

Moreover, the immense energy contained in this dinosaur meat was enough to sustain him for a long time.

Brogy grabbed another jar of fine wine and drank it down.

Looking at the nine large wine jars neatly placed on the ground, his heart was full of joy. These were all gifts from his good friend Yun Lie, and he would have a feast in the days to come!

After eating and drinking to their fill, Brogy carefully placed Yun Lie and Nojiko on his shoulders: "Let's go! I'll take you to find the spices!"

He took large strides, speeding away like a gust of wind.

Yun Lie and Karina stood on his shoulders, feeling the whistling wind, as if they were on a thrilling roller coaster.

Soon, Brogy arrived at a secluded small valley.

Karina felt a churn in her stomach. She suppressed her discomfort, stumbled to a tree, and leaning against the trunk, began to vomit.

The recent jostling, combined with the grilled meat in her stomach, was simply unbearable for her.

Seeing this, Brogy quickly lowered his head, a look of guilt on his face: "I'm so sorry, I got too excited and forgot you might not be able to handle it."

His tone was full of self-reproach.

"It's… it's fine, I'll be alright after a moment."

Karina waved her hand, trying to force a smile.

Once she recovered, the sight before her instantly captured her full attention.

"Oh my god! This is simply a paradise of spices!"

In the valley, various strange plants grew wildly, many of which were extinct species she had only seen in ancient texts but never witnessed with her own eyes.

As a foodie, she felt as if she had discovered a huge treasure, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
