Chapter 4 - A heart's souls connection

Summary:[1]

As the heavy clouds were stagnant in the dark sky that night, a little dreamer's mind got caught by a foggy memory taking place near the abandoned garden beside her house.

As she started her walk in the middle of that fog, she took his hand and started marching toward an unknown destination while enjoying the grey sky and the silence of the outside.

In the middle of that walk, her gaze got caught by a rose.

From afar, a single delicate flower rests atop one of the old stone steps near the neighbor's silent garden with a rose whose color is a fragile mix of white, yellow, and soft pink powder spread across every petal. It is the only rose growing from that hardened and unusable floor, standing there as if it had chosen to bloom despite everything that should have stopped it.

Her mind became so focused on the flower that she slowly forgot about their walk. The warmth of his hand fades from her attention, and it seems that this moment of distraction becomes the reason for her imprisonment.

As she was about to catch it, she found herself trapped in the middle of a flowerless garden.

The air feels heavier.

The world beyond the gate feels distant.

Of course, his presence remains.

Extending his hand toward her, silently offering to help her out of that trap. Trusting him, she lets him place his hands gently at each side of her waist while she presses her own hands against his shoulders. The moment he lifted her ; she felt rescued from more than just a garden.

Feeling like she is being freed from something that had kept her locked inside a cell she had never chosen to live in.

At least, that is what she believes when she finally reaches the other side.

Her arms instinctively wrap around his neck, while her hands tighten around his waist. In that instant, her focus on him becomes absolute, making her feel as though they are the only two souls left in the world.

As their lips were about to touch, a blinding light devoured them, waking up young Eva from her mere dream with an amazing gift of warmth and reassurance. As she would describe it later her black and pink carnet

"As you were holding me tightly, I felt like my heart was beating within your chest and yours found his home within mine."

[1] As another gray morning begins, Eva wakes to her sister’s angry accusations, unrecognized for the sacrifices she made during Ramadan while neglecting her own needs.Exhausted and overwhelmed, she faces humiliation at school for work born from burnout, carrying a shame that is heavier than failure itself. That night, as she stands alone beneath a clouded sky, unseen protectors in another world watch over her knowing she is the kingdom’s last hope and must be reminded she is not alone.
