Chapter 501: The Nishimiya Family Arrives! Liar or Doctor?
For a moment, the distressed Yuzuru scratched her head, extremely agitated. Shoko saw she was strange but didn't know how to comfort her.
"Click!" The door opened. Mrs. Nishimiya walked in and, seeing the conflict, asked, "What are you doing?"
Shoko didn't know how to answer. After a moment, Yuzuru looked up, facing her mother with determined eyes for the first time. "Mom, I have a way to cure my sister's hearing."
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Mrs. Nishimiya's first reaction was that she was joking. Regarding Shoko's hearing, she had visited many hospitals, but there was no cure. "Yuzuru, don't joke with your sister."
However, Yuzuru insisted, "Mom, I really do! Can you believe me just this once?"
"You…" Mrs. Nishimiya, who was about to scold her, was suddenly pulled by Shoko. She couldn't hear, but she could sense the bad atmosphere. She gestured, "Mom, Yuzuru isn't playing a trick on me. I can feel that she cares about me."
Mrs. Nishimiya then remembered that although Yuzuru was rebellious, she had no ill will towards Shoko. If it wasn't a trick, then other issues needed to be considered. Has she met a swindler?
Realizing the seriousness, she asked solemnly, "Yuzuru, have you met a swindler?"
"Ren Onii-san is absolutely not a swindler!" she instinctively retorted.
This caught her mother's attention. "Ren? Isn't he the neighbor who helped find you? How can he cure her? Is he a doctor?" But she remembered he was still a student.
"He... he..." Yuzuru knew she couldn't explain. She could only brace herself. "Mom, please believe me! Ren Onii-san can really cure my sister!"
"It's not that I don't believe you, but where is the basis?" Of course, she was willing to believe. She wanted Shoko to regain her hearing more than anyone. But what was Yuzuru's basis? If he was a swindler... she didn't want to make such an extreme guess, but she still needed to understand. "Yuzuru, let's go meet Ren-kun."

"That's great! Haru-sensei is truly amazing! I feel like I learned so much today!" It was noon. Yotsuba excitedly hugged Haru. The others felt the same way. When Haru taught, they could truly calm down and learn.
Nino glanced at Yotsuba. "Don't be so excited. This isn't our home."
"It doesn't matter. I don't mind," Ren said. "However, I've noticed you don't seem to be stupid. You all have subjects you excel at."
He pointed at Ichika. "For example, your math, Nino's English, Miku's social studies, Yotsuba's Chinese, and Itsuki's science."
"Meow!" (I think so too.) As their teacher, Haru felt even more strongly.
The five sisters looked at each other; this was the first time their strengths had been discovered and praised.
Ichika's lips curved. "It's really delightful that you can discover our strengths, Ren-kun. However, you've been playing with your phone all this time. Could it be you were secretly observing us?"
She originally wanted to tease him, but he nodded and admitted it. "Of course. With several beautiful young women present, not observing would be a waste."
Ichika was embarrassed. The others were too.
"It's getting late. We should go back and make lunch," it was Nino who broke the atmosphere.
"Grrr~" When lunch was mentioned, Itsuki's stomach grumbled cooperatively. "Ugh… I'm just a little hungry." It made her ears burn red.
Ren smiled. "Then let's leave it at that for now."
He saw them out the door, only to see the Nishimiya family walking towards his house. The five sisters merely looked at them curiously, then got into the elevator.
"Mrs. Nishimiya, you all are…" Ren probably guessed their intention.
"Ren-kun, I wanted to ask you about Shoko," she went straight to the point.
"Come in and talk."
Upon entering, she noticed someone was cooking. "Are we disturbing you?"
"No need. You can say whatever now."
From beginning to end, Yuzuru kept her head down. Seeing this, he took the initiative. "Mrs. Nishimiya, you must have come because Yuzuru said I can cure Shoko's hearing problem, right?"
She was still struggling with how to begin. "That's right, Ren-kun. I was wondering if perhaps you have a relative who is a famous doctor?" Thinking carefully, this was the only possibility.
After all, Ren was just a student; how could he possibly know how to treat illnesses? If he really had a relative or friend who was a famous doctor, perhaps they could try.
