Chapter 500: The Five Sisters' First Lesson! Alice's Thoughts!
On the road from Totsuki Academy to the Polar Star Dormitory, Tadokoro Megumi, Ryoko Sakaki, and Yuki Yoshino, who had been like little transparent figures, finally relaxed.
"Megumi-chan, do you know Ren-kun? What does he do?" Ryoko was curious about their relationship.
Megumi nervously touched her hair. "Um... it was just a fleeting encounter. I don't know what he does either."
"Ah... what a pity." Ryoko was disappointed.
Yuki Yoshino put her finger to her mouth. "Ren-kun and the others have superpowers, and they talked about the end of the world. Could it be they are a hero organization that protects the world? How cool! Do you think we have a chance to join?"
Ryoko yearned for it greatly. Even chefs would long to save the world.
Although Yuki also wanted to be a hero, she still shook her head. "How could ordinary people like us possibly do that?"
"What's impossible about it?" Ryoko glared at her, then looked at Megumi. "You agree, right, Megumi-chan?"
"I don't know about that either," she said with a wry smile. Because Ren's impression had changed so much, she hadn't fully adapted. Hero... she felt that word was so distant.
Meanwhile, Ikumi Mito, although shocked, had a clear mind. She only needed to follow Erina steadfastly.
And Alice, who had just returned home, took a good bath. But her mind hadn't stopped turning. She tried to connect Ren, superpowers, the apocalypse, and everything else. She wanted to know the full story.
"Payment... transaction... superpowers..." Suddenly, a flash of inspiration connected a clue. "Could it be that Erina and the others gained their superpowers through a transaction with him?" After thinking of this, it seemed more and more reasonable, especially since everyone at the banquet seemed to revolve around him. Alice narrowed her eyes. "It seems I still need to test them."
"Ren-kun, we're here!" Itsuki's energetic voice woke Ren from Nao's warm embrace.
"Tsk." He clicked his tongue. He had only just fallen asleep. He got up.
Nao gently said, "Master, do you need me to help you change?"
"No need. You and Neko should rest well." His finger rested on her cheek, and he lightly kissed her lips. A brand new set of blue pajamas instantly appeared on him. He picked up Haru from the bedside, put on his slippers, and walked out.
As soon as he left, he saw Kanae. "Ren, it's the five sisters."
"Mm, I know. You should go rest too. You worked hard yesterday."
"Okay."
After Kanae returned, he walked into the living room. The five sisters were already sitting on the sofa with books and pens.
"You guys didn't have to come so early, did you?" It was only eight in the morning.
"Um, I'm sorry, Ren-kun. I was a bit too excited," Itsuki apologized awkwardly.
"I'm sorry. Next time we'll choose a more suitable time." Ichika and the other four pleaded together.
Since they had said all that, he wouldn't make a big deal. He placed Haru on the table. "I'll leave this to you."
"Meow!" (Leave it to me!)
Haru began her first private lesson. Ren, meanwhile, sat to the side, bored, scrolling on his phone. At first, they were uncomfortable with his presence, but gradually, as they listened, they became more serious.
Nishimiya's home.
"Sister, do you believe me?" Yuzuru pressed Shoko's shoulders, making her sit, and gestured with an unusually serious expression. Just a moment ago, she had suddenly grabbed her. "Sister, I have a way to cure your ears."
It wasn't that Shoko didn't want to believe her, but facts had shown her that her ears could not be recovered. She could only force a smile and sign, "I'm willing to believe you." But any discerning person could see it was forced.
Yuzuru was very angry, not that Shoko didn't trust her, but that she always thought of others. She didn't want to see her sister live with such a timid attitude. But she really had a way! As long as she could convince her without revealing Ren's superpower, he could help. But it was difficult. She had been looking for an opportunity for days but was afraid of making her mother angry or her sister sad.
