Peyy and Lukia were two werewolf brothers, known for their ferocity and vampire hunting skills. They were on a mission to kill the last remaining vampire, but they didn't know where to find Kael, a traitor who knew a forbidden secret about them.
Peyy suggested they head south, searching for clues to Kael's whereabouts. Lukia agreed, but also warned them that they needed to ensure Kael didn't reveal the secret to their father, Baro, the powerful alpha of the pack.
Before they could leave, Baro appeared before them, asking where they were going. Peyy tried to explain, but before she could finish, Baro attacked, ripping off Peyy's arm with a brutal blow.
Lukia was shocked by her father's violence and tried to intervene, but Baro grabbed her by the throat and gouged out one of her eyes. He revealed that he knew the secret the two brothers were keeping and severely punished them for keeping it from him.
With his heirs wounded and shamed, Baro departed, leaving the two werewolves behind. They realized they had been naive in trusting Kael and decided to seek revenge against the one who betrayed them. After all, the pack did not forgive traitors.
