"Big meanie..."
His hazel eyes squinted, and a little frown covered his small face.
I noticed Tremious smile towards Ororon. He then patted his head before turning to face me with his usual aloof expression.
"Does that explain things for you?"
The cold voice rang in my ears, and I could only nod at him.
"Still, a curse..."
I muttered, looking at the men again.
Tremious eyes followed towards them as well, and he reluctantly sighed, running a hand through his smooth hair before uttering.
"It isn't for long."
"Hmm?"
"Di, please do come in."
The old lady's accent ticked me off, and it was just about time that I met a healer.
I took my first step in, and immediately, my body and soul felt relieved. A soothing teal mana hitched up my skirt and hair slightly, and it was the same for the others.
My eyes met hers. Her teal eyes glowed an unearthly blend of ocean depth and arcane light, as if magic slept behind them. Her hair, teal layered bob with distinctive sidetails, framing her face. Her skin is milky smooth, and a grumpy face stuck to her.
She was dressed modestly, a black bow in front of her white inner garment with black blazer long till her knees. And a slightly teal green long skirt to comprise with her hair. She wasn't taller than me, but it was hard to tell since her posture remained low.
Her lips were puffed up, and she avoided eye contact while the biggest frown was glued to her face.
"Di, take sit."
She grunted, her voice a contrast to her demeanour. Low and soar. She seemed stubborn but not a bad person. In my eyes, it just seemed like a charm rather than a flaw.
"Di, stare later. Sit, no time."
"Oh, yes."
Both Tremious and Ororon sat down before me, and I kept my eyes locked on her, trying to learn her.
She kept her face low, and with a scowl and a grumpy voice, she grunted again. Her mana still emanated out of her. Perhaps she didn't know how to settle it?
"Di problem?"
"The boy's eyes trouble him."
Both locked eyes and an uncalled linger ran through my heart.
I glanced at him, and he kept his gaze fixed to her while her frown just grew.
"Di, will take a lool at him."
She walked towards him, extended her hands, and rested them over his head while Tremious examined her for threats, keeping his arms crossed.
She squinted her nose next and pouted while muttering.
"Glasses only, no other problem, Di."
"Oh! Are you sure?"
I asked, and she stared at me with an annoyed face.
"Di, healer is me. Get glasses from out, leave."
With that, she sat back down, and both me and Ororon awkwardly were about to leave, but I couldn't sense the man behind me following my steps.
"Tremious?"
I turned back just to see him looking at her again with an unreadable expression.
My lips and throat went dry. Did he find her intriguing? The thought of that unsettled me in some ways.
"Di, stare?"
Tremious smiled out of nowhere and got up and spared her a last glance before passing by me. My eyes left to wander at her, confused, anxious , and overwhelming feelings.
"You stare too, Di?"
I turned away, my legs teetering, and unsure of where to head next.
[Tael? Hold yourself]
Tomb echoed in my thoughts
(What?)
[Lool forward]
(Hmm?)
"Oww!"
I rubbed my head and opened my eyes to see myself bumping into the wooden wall. The situation really is taking a toll on me. Ororon was worried about me. However, he walked away, taking larger steps than he would naturally or was it just because he was in his adult form that made me feel that way.
Nonetheless, Ororon got a pair of round glasses, and the freckles on his cheeks perfectly complemented the look.
Yet my head went into a daze...
"It's better to look for the others..."
I said with the most natural voice I could come up with. Tremious didn't rebel and replied with an empty hmm before taking a look back at the door he had come through.
"Why do you keep looking there?"
The small man asked the question that I've been dying to ask. Although the motives of both of us are completely different yet similar in some ways.
Tremious paused for a good minute and crossed his arms, leaning against a wall still keeping a close look at the door. He smiled yet again, the same smile he had given her back then.
"Curiosity?"
He spoke while tilting his head.
Was it rage that fired inside me, I didn't know myself. However, I just found myself walking away from him. Walking away from a truth, I wasn't able to cope with it.

He saw her go, but within, he knew what made her leave.
