Chapter 6 - Rebirth

"Oh," the person on the vast grassland opened his eyes again, sensing something dangerous.

"So that damn monkey sensed something and began to move… I see… this would be troublesome," knowing that damn monkey is strong.

"I should begin moving to… all of this is probably a sign of a calamity… with Zeus already ordering the search for all-time gods, this is already a sign of something dangerous. His body stands up, and his hands are held forward.

"Sword of chaos, return to your owner." As he said that, the chaos began to move.

While in the chaos

"Heh—so the Sword of Chaos finally wiggles its rusty blade? How quaint! That walking tantrum holding it must've finished his decade-long nap to crawl out now. Patience isn't a virtue, fool—it's boredom! "

Frey was already at the floor of the tower, the floor of rebirth.

As the name suggests, it's where the body is reborn to its strongest form.

This should be only possible once you reach your prime, but in the tower you'll be reborn at the 2nd floor; whether you succeed is up to yourself.

And to succeed on this floor is to reconstruct, while the gods made it easier because their bodies were already at their strongest.

But me, I'm still a human, so I needed this.

So I entered the 2nd floor, where everything is darkness.

I noticed my body melting, my bones shattering.

Pain began.

Moments later the pain was still being repeated.

My body wanted to scream but couldn't.

Pain. Again. Always pain.

Cell by cell. Bone by bone.

Fire burns. Frost cracks.

Muscle twists, skin stitches.

Again. Again. Again.

I don't scream. Can't scream.

Jaws melt. Tongue rots.

Eyes burst. Ears bleed.

But… cell by cell.

Again.

Fingers form. Toes claw.

Heart thuds. Lungs swell.

Not alive. Not dead.

Just… cell by cell.

Again.

Teeth sharpen. Nails harden.

Hair sprouts. Veins web.

Pain fades? No.

Pain stays. Cell by cell.

Again.

Minutes? Hours?

Doesn't matter.

I survive.

Cell by cell.

Again.

After surviving that hell-born place, my body was upgraded; my once superhuman body became an immortal body.

My once snowy white hair changed into snowy silver-white hair, and my once black eyes changed into a mix of light and dark-colored eyes.

My body, which is the apex of human, became a body sculpted by the world that can contend against the gods.

"With this body my body would withstand abilities in my past life that I would use."

'Rewards for clearing floor 2'

Rewards: 5 thousand tower points, pass to floor 3

Because you cleared floor 2 while having the body to compete with gods, the tower rewarded you 5 thousand tower points for an impressive feat for a human.

"Heh, even the tower recognized my body." Yeah, I was proud of my amazing body.

"Eh… but why does it feel different from my past life? My past life was also able to contend with the gods, but before it was only 1 thousand tower points, but why 5 thousand now?"

"Is this one of the effects of my regression or my authority to be free?" Frey was perplexed by these sudden butterfly effects; he doesn't know whether his body changed from his past body or just because the tower sensed his regression.
