Synopsis
"Finally... I can die in peace." After witnessing the universe’s final collapse following the Easter Egg ending of Tag der Toten, Mateo sat in silence, watching as everything he had fought for—the war against Dr. Monty, the Great War against the Apothicons, and all the suffering from Verrückt all the way to Tag der Toten—finally came to an end. The multiverse crumbled. The battle was over. For the first time, he exhaled. He whispered his farewells to the comrades who had become his family: Primis, Victis, and Ultimis. And even to Ultimis Richtofen—despite all the chaos he had caused—Mateo gave him one final goodbye. Then the void trembled. Reality fractured. And everything faded to black. Mateo awoke in a park—alive, breathing, and far younger than he remembered. Disoriented, he looked up at a glowing billboard that displayed a gallery of striking, familiar figures. Heroes. This was a different world. A world of quirks. A world of Pro Heroes. A world called My Hero Academia. With a tired breath and a voice barely above a whisper, Mateo muttered: "I just wanted to rest in peace."

Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: Prologue

"Finally... I can die in peace," Mateo sighed, his voice barely a whisper.

He sat in silence. Everything he had fought for, the war against Dr. Monty, the Great War against the Apothicons, and the endless suffering from Verrückt to Tag der Toten had finally come to an end.

Worn and weary, Mateo looked down at his bloodstained hands, reflecting on how he had ended up here.

Once, he had been just Giuliano, a regular 16-year-old teenager. He loved video games, anime, and sports. But one day, while casually playing Verrückt with his friends on Black Ops 3, everything changed. Giuliano suddenly blacked out, only to wake up in the body of Mateo Bianchi, a 25-year-old Italian soldier from the Regio Esercito (Royal Italian Army).

Captured by Group 935 in 1944, Mateo was one of several prisoners subjected to horrific experiments under Dr. Edward Richtofen. By late 1945, during a brutal procedure designed to "unlock the human mind," two test subjects died. Mateo should have been one of the two.

But at that moment, Giuliano's consciousness took over Mateo's body.

He survived.

Disoriented and confused, he was later found by Richtofen, alongside three other former prisoners: Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, and Takeo Masaki. Mateo joined them on their journey, walking the path of the COD Zombies storyline through every chapter, fighting alongside the Ultimis, Primis, and Victis crews against the hordes of the undead.

And now... it was finally all over.

"Hello?!"

"Uh, Richtofen?! Has something gone wrong?!"

"We did everything you asked!"

"You haven't forgotten about us, have you?" Stuhlinger shouted, panic in his voice.

'It's finally happening', Mateo thought, squeezing the trigger and firing three precise shots into the skulls of approaching undead soldiers.

"What are you talking about?!"

"We found the Agarthan Device!" Stuhlinger yelled again, frantic and afraid.

The battle was finally over, the multiverse began to crumble, reality fractured and then….

Darkness….

Mateo awoke in a park.

Alive, breathing and younger than he remembered.

Disoriented, he sat up and scanned the unfamiliar skyline. His eyes landed on a glowing billboard overhead, flashing a colorful montage of bold, powerful figures.

All Might. Endeavor. Edgeshot.

This wasn't Earth. Not his, anyway.

This was a different world.

A world of Quirks.

A world of Pro Heroes.

A world called My Hero Academia.

With a tired breath and eyes full of reluctant recognition, Mateo muttered:

"I just wanted to rest in peace..."
