Chapter 22: Back home again

Chapter Text

I've never felt this nervous in either of my lives.

If anyone from my old life heard of this they'd be laughing at me.

Me, who has outdueled some of the strongest fighters. Me, who has kept the king safe through multiple assassination attempts. Me, who has stared at the jaws of death hundreds of times yet came out alive all but one time.

That same me is nervous of meeting my parents after four years.

So I asked my brother if he was the same.

"You nervous?"

"Absolutely"

At least I'm not the only one.

"Same here."

And then we knocked together.

A dull yet resounding sound of metal clanging on metal followed.

I could hear footsteps and a sound which surprisingly was that of a child's, "Coming~"

The door opened to reveal a little girl accompanied by a maid who looked at us curiously. I guess its not everyday two 8 year old kids come at a nobles manor.

"Ahem, I am Fayden Leywin, this is my brother Arthur Leywin, it's a pleasure to meet you. We were notified that our family is currently residing here. Can we speak to them?" I introduce us.

Before the maid could respond an oh so familiar voice spoke in the background, "Eleanor Leywin! There you are! You have got to stop going to the front door every time someone..." my mother stopped mid way and dropped a bowl of food.

Eleanor Leywin. My sister? Looking closer I see she has dazzling brown eyes and light ashen brown hair, much like my own, tied in two pigtails.

Turning my gaze away from her I looked towards mom and spoke, "Hey mom, we're back."

She ran towards us at a speed on par with Gramps, fell on her knees, embracing us in a death grip, afraid we might disappear again.

At this moment the dam broke. I let my tears flow through my eyes like small rivers, and a wide smile framed my face.

"You're both alive! I knew the voices were you! You're back home now my babies!" That's the most she could make out before turning into a bawling mess.

I couldn't blame her, not while all I could do was cry silently on her shoulder.

I hadn't cried like this in a long time. Not since the incident.

Seeing mom like this our sister walked to us and patted her back trying to comfort her, " Mama, there there, don't cwy."

But after seeing that she was unsuccessful she also started crying.

"Arthur! Fayden!" A voice came from behind us, craning my neck backwards I saw my father, drenched in sweat sprinting towards us.

He slid on his knees hugging us, almost toppling us over.

"My sons! Look how much you've grown! You're finally back!" He put us in a headlock under his arms.

This continued on with my mother still weeping uncontrollably along with my sister while me and Art had silly grins on our faces and Father patting our heads.

After a few moments we finally settled down.

We sat on a couch with me and Arthur sitting on either side and Mom between us. Dad sat on a chair facing us and Eleanor sitting on another couch to the side.

"Are you alright now? You ate three times a day right? You slept dressed warmly everyday right? Oh my babies, look how you've grown." My mother said with tears still escaping her eyes.

She pulled us in another hug and placed a gentle kiss on our temples, "I'm so glad that both of you are back."

Zeke had come out by now and was observing the three unfamiliar people in the room along with Sylvie.

Who?

Family, they're family. The auburn haired woman is my mother while the ashen brown haired man is my father and the little girl is my sister.

Okay

Judging from how he and Sylvie started playing Arthur must've said something similar to her.

Dad was also looking at the two beasts with curiosity but didn't question it. Looking at us his gaze softened and he kept shaking his head, repeating again and again how big we've gotten. Must be a bittersweet feeling knowing that your sons have grown so much and you weren't there with them.

"Ellie, say hi to your big brothers, they had to stay away from us for a while but they will stay with us from now." My mother gently nudged my sister.

"Bruhders?" She said tilting her head a little.

"Yes, the ones in the stories mama and papa told you before bedtime."

Hearing that her eyes started sparkling making me wonder what kind of stories they had told her.

"Hewo big bruhder Art, big bruhder Fay." She said waving her hands at us.

I think my heart melted at that moment.

At that moment I swore I'd keep her safe, that I would not fail my family another time.

"Hello Eleanor, its nice to meet you." My brother said shaking her hands

"Hey little sister, nice to finally meet you." I said patting her head instead.

"My sons, we were devastated after what happened and hardly believed it when you talked to us in our minds. How did you two survive the fall?" My father asked us.

Me and Art looked at each other and nodded. We had already decided just how much information we would withdraw, like being saved by mana beasts, receiving beast wills, and an artifact as a weapon in my case.

"Fayden, you mentioned some sort of problem in your mana cores that prevented your return. What about that? Are you cured?" My mother asked concern visible on her face and voice.

"Its fine, we're cured. Apparently our early awakening lead to our mana cores becoming unstable and resulting in frequent pain in our cores. Fortunately there was an elder there who knew how to cure it and agreed to help us since we brought their princess back safely." I reassured them.

She sighed in relief and patted our heads again.

"So what's the story behind these two." My father asked pointing towards Zeke and Sylvie.

"When we were traveling we came across two mana beasts fighting, probably for territory, they seemed to be equal in strength and ended up killing each other. We went to check up on them when Arthur found a stone, which he later realized was an egg, and I found a new born cub hidden in the shadow of the beast which came out once he was dead." I explained to them.

"I named her Sylvie and Fay named him Zeke. Say hi to them." Arthur said their names which I had forgotten to mention.

Arthur picked Sylvie up in his arms to which she purred like a kitten while Zeke jumped into my lap and yipped happily.

While not exactly a lie it left a sour aftertaste in my mouth.

"So what happened while we were away?" I asked them since all I knew was that they stayed in Xyrus now and Dad took a new job.

So Dad explained just what had happened during these 4 years. Mom chimed in saying, "The Helstea family had gone on a trip and would be arriving today, I imagine they would be quite surprised to see you."

Looking closer at my parents I saw mother had lost a bit of weight and that she was paler than before, probably due to the grief of "losing" us, sorry mom. My father though was much more built now and had a beard making him look more rustic than before.

"So Dad, what color is your mana core now." Arthur asked.

With a confident grin and chest puffed out he spoke, "Your old man broke through the light red stage a few years ago and now is a dark orange mage."

Impressive, for the average mage that didn't attend school usually got stuck in the light red stage and if lucky the dark orange, so by that standards my father was doing pretty good.

Leaning forward he spoke again, "I bet you only asked to brag yourself, so lets hear it then. What stage are you."

Smirking at each other we spoke, "Light red"

Dad who was already leaning forward fell down in surprise and even my mother let out a gasp of surprise.

"L-Light red, Holy shit!" He exclaimed.

"Shet!" said my sister laughing at my father falling.

"That's nice and good honey but what did I say about cursing in front of Ellie." My Mother reprimanded Dad.

"Sorry, Sorry. Don't listen to what your Dad just said Ellie." He said before turning to us.

"They still are the same geniuses they were before. Come on. Lets spar!"

Chapter 23: A shocking surprise

"They just got home Reynolds. Let the boys rest" My mother tried to stop us but to no avail.

"Its fine Mom." Arthur said trying to reassure her.

"Besides, I kinda do want to know how much Dad has improved, I'm sure he wants to know as well." I chime in.

"Men! Always trying to find an excuse to fight. Right Ellie?" My mother shook her head at our antics.

"Papa and bruhders are Men!" Ellie said trying to mimic mother.

This earned a laugh out of the three of us.

Man, it feels really good to be back.

When we got up to go to the backyard the door opened.

"Rey! I just heard your sons were alive. What the hell is going on?" A man with glasses and parted hair wearing a suit with his wife and daughter running in soon after.

"Vincent, I would like you to meet my sons Arthur and Fayden. They really are back Vince!" Dad said wrapping his arms around the mans shoulder.

"Arthur, Fayden, this is Vincent Helstea, my old friend and now the person I work for. So introduce yourselves before we start wrecking his house." He said grinning ear to ear.

As we bowed to them my brother spoke introducing us, "It's a pleasure to meet you, I am Arthur Leywin and this is my brother, Fayden Leywin. I'm not sure as to what my family has told you about us but we were in contact with them a few years prior and had told them not to reveal it to anyone until our return, we apologize deeply for the confusion and thank you for helping my family during during this time."

Can't help but agree there, this man has my utmost respect and gratitude for helping my family out in their worst time.

"Y-yeah. Its not a problem really. I'm just glad you're both alive and safe." He said adjusting his glasses, as if he couldn't believe he is speaking to 8 year olds, " Meet Tabitha, my wife and Lilia, my daughter."

"A pleasure to meet you ma'am, Lilia." I say with Sylvie introducing herself with a 'kyu' and Zeke coming out of my shadow and yipped at her wagging his tail.

In response I received a smile, " Its great to have you in our home Fayden and Arthur. Lilia! Say hi to them so I hope you can be friends."

The girl, now named Lilia spoke up pointing to Zeke and Sylvie, " What's that? They're so cute!"

"They are mana beasts that bonded with us. Sylvie go say hi." Arthur explained to which Sylvie came down and mewed.

"You too Zeke." I say.

Zeke comes forward and waves his paw at her, his tail still wagging.

Lilia squealed at their apparent cuteness.

"Rey, what did you mean when you said 'wrecking his house'." Vincent spoke after tearing his gaze from the two bonds.

"We were planning to have a spar in the backyard. Wanna come and watch." My father replied chuckling.

"A-are you serious Rey! They just got home and you want to fight them? Besides they don't seem to be older than eight, so what are you going to fight for." Vincent sputtered out incredulously.

"Don't be fooled by their age. They are already at the light red stage." Dad bragged, puffing his chest.

"You're telling me both your 8year old sons have already awakened and reached the light red stage while the snobby noble brats that attend Xyrus at 11 or 12 years are barely in the dark red stage. Don't be ridiculous Rey." Vincent shook his head in disbelief

"You'll see, besides I have a little surprise myself."

"You should go first Art." I whisper to him.

When we got to the backyard Dad asked, "So who's first?"

Arthur stepped up and stood a distance away from Dad.

Sylvie stayed with us in the audience.

"Ready when you are" Arthur spoke with a grin.

"Be careful Art, you may be at the light red stage but your pops is still a stage higher." He said pounding his fists together.

Meanwhile Vincent was still shaking his head not believing we have awakening much less that we're light red core mages.

"Come" Dad taunted Arthur getting into a stance.

Instantly Arthur was in range for a fist, this earned a few gasps from the others.

Heh, there much more coming just watch.

He feigned a punch and went for a high kick.

Which was blocked by Father whose arm was flung back by the momentum, leaving him open for another strike.

But he reacted fast enough and executed a right chop.

Arthur managed to block it and kick the back of his knee, before seemingly sending him off balance.

But he gained it back almost immediately forcing Arthur to jump back and make some distance.

"Well, I have to say that you're better than all of the mages I've trained. But I'm going to get serious now be careful.

Alright lets see what his trump card is.

His fists ignited first, the fire spreading through his body forming a scarlet cloak over him. Although some amount of mana was being wasted judging from the steam being emitted by his body.

Impressive.

But we have a better version.

"Impressive Dad....but now its my turn." Arthur unknowingly voiced out my thoughts.

In my previous world elemental augmenters didn't control the elements, no. There were merely practitioners of different sects.

The Wind, Earth, Fire and Water sects each had individual techniques that utilized their respective elements.

One of the reasons that allowed me to attain such a high position was due to my mastery over Fire, Water and Wind sects and integrating them into my fighting style, the three elements gave strength, fluidity and speed respectively which truly made me one of the fiercest fighters there. Although I did learn Earth to some degree but it wasn't anywhere near my prowess in the other three.

Translating that I'd be a tri elemental mage, maybe even quadra-elemental, although then my Earth affinity would be abysmal.

Moving on, during my training with Gramps I found out that I had quite the talent for conjuring but augmenting? That was a big no. I mean I almost exploded when I first tried it. Talk about denial. Sheesh.

Looking back what I had said really was insensitive, "Don't worry princess I won't drench your backyard in blood."

I guess I deserved that slap.

Virion had asked me why I wasn't afraid of death. I only shrugged at that.

After all experiencing death one time really takes away the fear of dying again.

Anyways we're moving off topic. Soon after I learned that I was indeed a quadra-elemental mage with my earth affinity the lowest. Like seriously I couldn't conjure an earthen wall to save my life.

And after four months of trying deviant magic I got an acceptable result. While Arthur, also a quadra-elemental mage, got a bit less than acceptable result.

"Try not to be too surprised." Arthurs voice brought me out of my inner monologue.

Crackling noises permeated the air as electricity started to form a cloak around my brother.

The rest of the audience froze in thunderstruck silence while I had a barely noticeable smirk on my face.

Chapter 24: Deviants

The lightning crackled around my brother and covered him in a golden shroud while his auburn hair stood on end.

"What the..." My Father faltered, too shocked by this sudden advancement. Using the moment to his advantage Arthur dashed behind him leaving charred land in his wake and executed a lightning-infused hook.

A loud explosion followed a clash of fists causing my father to be blown back.

After gaining his bearings and staring down at my brother for a few seconds he lunged at him with incredible speeds and performed several precise jabs. Which were each evaded by him with minimal movement. The fire and lightning mixing together as he kept dodging the blows which were becoming more precise by the second.

But suddenly his jabs started to become more dull and sloppy. Seems like the electricity was doing its job of numbing his arms.

Ducking under a particularly sloppy swing he went for an uppercut, but before he could strike Father placed his knee under his jaw putting them into a stalemate.

Father clasping Arthur's shoulder with his hand and eliciting a surprised yelp dissipated the tension.

Arthur dispersed his electricity allowing Father to pick him up.

I guess the toll was too much because as soon as Dad put him back down he collapsed again.

"...surprise," he said waving his arms up and laughing weakly.

"D-Deviant!" Vincent broke the silence.

"My God..." Tabitha sighed, astonished at what just transpired.

"So, when did you learn that little trick." My Father asked, more curious than bewildered.

"Quite recently actually. I can barely maintain it though." He admitted grinning sheepishly.

"What about you Fay? Care to show us what you learned?" Dad said looking towards me

"Sure you don't want to take a break?" I ask with a smirk framing my face.

"Nah your old man has some more juice in him."

"Fine by me," I said as I replaced Arthur in the backyard.....the now ruined backyard.

My father got into the same stance as before.

"How about we forego all that? You see I'm a conjurer unlike you and Art, so I don't have many defensive tricks although I do know hand to hand combat."

"Alright then. I would tell you to be careful but upon seeing what Art was capable of you should be at a similar level or higher." He said as he ignited his fists.

"Ready," He asks.

"Let's go!" I reply as I conjured Twin swords of pure lightning.

He rushed towards me with the same speed he used against Art, but I still had enough time to perform a few swings and send multiple arcs of lightning his way, forcing him to dodge and slow down.

[Thunder arc]

This gave me enough time to create some distance between us and prepare mana for more spell casting. Unfortunately, those few arcs drained my swords and had them dissipate. I still need to work on that.

I conjured a bigger than average [Fire Ball] in one hand and a [Thunder Bolt] in the other and bring them together to form an amalgamation of scarlet and yellow before shooting it at Dad.

(Like final flash but smaller)

"Shit!" I heard him curse as he desperately looked for a way to avoid it but only managed to evade a portion of it while the rest assaulted him head-on.

He's still standing. With half of his clothes at fire and his movement sluggish he dashed towards me.

Fine then, have it your way.

I sprinted forwards with wind blowing behind me enhancing my speed while forming another sword. Aiming for his neck with the lightning weakened so as to not harm him too much. But it never hit him. My sword dissipated before I could strike him and I fell face first

Was I out of time already?

Damn, I didn't even notice through all the adrenaline.

Now that it's over I feel how stiff my body is.

"Haha! You nearly had me there Fay. Also what was that little mix attack." My father said as he helped me up.

"That was a mixture of a [Fire Ball] and a [Thunder Bolt], I like to call it [Ember Bolt]"

"D-deviants, both deviants," Vincent spoke up.

Oh calm down will you? You haven't even seen our beast wills and you're already hyperventilating.

The others just looked in stunned silence. Other than Ellie that is, although that is because she doesn't understand what we pulled off.

Are you okay Dad?

Yeah, I'm fine don't worry.

We went back inside and got seated around the dining table.

"Do you understand what kind of future your sons have Rey? At the age of 8, they are already superior to a veteran B-rank adventurer." Vincent spoke barely concealing his excitement.

Scratching his head my father spoke, "This is insane. I thought them awakening at 3 was terrifying but to become deviants as well...."

"They awakened at three!" Tabitha said bolting up.

"And managed to blow up part of the house in the process." Mom chimed in.

Dad and Vincent leaned back in their chairs and let out a sigh in sync.

"Are yoo okay papa?" Eleanor asked poking Dad's cheek.

"Haha, your father's okay Ellie." He

Vincent abruptly got up, stretched his arms on the table, and spoke looking seriously at us, "Rey, What if we enroll them in Xyrus academy."

"You can't be serious Vince, they're only eight." My Father said sitting up as well.

"I think your sons are overqualified to attend Xyrus," Tabitha spoke up this time.

"I thought only the noble geniuses were allowed to attend Xyrus Academy?" My mother asked, concern all over her face.

Excitedly, Vincent voiced out, "I can manage that! I do a lot of business with the Director of Xyrus Academy, so she'll be lenient in the enrollment process."

"B-But the school fees are too expensive for us to handle," Mom still argued, not liking the idea of sending us away.

"That should be the least of your worries, Alice. We'd gladly pay the fees for them. Who knows what he will achieve one day? I'm you could find nobles that would beg to sponsor him." Tabitha said holding Mother's hand in her own.

I could see Arthur was about to lash out at them, and for good reason. We just got back after four years and He's wanting to send us to a school where the youngest are 11-12 while we are still 8.

"Excuse me. Seeing that this might affect our future drastically, do you mind if I have a say in this. Since we have just reunited with our Family today we would prefer to spend some time with them before leaving, yet again, to attend this academy." Arthur said, all the while gazing at Vincent.

"O-Of course, you're right. I guess I got a bit ahead of myself." He sank back laughing weakly.

Striking a smile he replied, "Thank you."

Turning towards mom he said, " Mom where do I sleep?"

"Actually I'd like to know that too, that spar took more out of me than I had initially thought." I chimed in.

"Oh yes! You'll have your rooms in the left-wing next to Eleanor's. Come on I'll show you the way."

Eleanor had already fallen asleep during our conversation and we all got up agreeing that it has become quite late.

Mom and Dad took us to Art's room first. Gotta say if my room is anything like his it'd be perfect with the homey feel to it and enough space to train.

Arthur put Sylvie down and sat down with our parents sitting on either side of him and me standing in front of him.

"We'll take you shopping tomorrow. You need new clothes. Both of you." Mother said running her fingers through his hair.

Father looked at us seriously and spoke, "Arthur, Fayden it doesn't matter if you're a genius, your still my sons, and I'll be proud of you and love you till the day I die. No matter the circumstances." It was....nice knowing that whatever happens we will be their sons first before anything else and I can't help but let a smile creep up on my face.

Before getting up he gave us an evil smile before saying, "Besides you really thought I didn't notice you holding back? We'll have a rematch soon, count on it."

"Alright, but you don't get to hold back either." I reply.

"Do any of you think about something other than fighting." Mother chortled at us.

"Your Father is right though, no matter how much of a genius you two become you'll still be my baby boy."

"Mom! I am eight and a half now can't I be your adolescent boy?" He said grinning ear to ear.

"Nope! You can't."

Figured as much.

"Get some rest now, come on Fay let me show you to your room."

"Yeah, coming." I reply as I go out muttering a 'goodnight' to my brother.

Sure enough, my room was near identical to his.

"Goodnight Mom, Dad." I say as I flop down on the bed.

I barely heard them reply in kind before the realm of sleep claimed me.

Chapter 25: The floating city

The next day I woke up to Zeke tugging my sleeve.

Wake up!

"Yeah, yeah I'm awake. Sheesh someone's excited to look around the city." I say while rubbing his head. I could see the stars in his eyes.

Stretching I got up and gestured him to come and take a bath.

Do I have to?

Gah! Don't give me those puppy dog eyes. They won't work on me.

"Yes, you stink."

After taking a shower I opened my door to go down, only to find myself face to face with my sister.

"Morning Ellie" I said kneeling down to her level.

"Let me guess Mom told you to come and wake us up?" I said smiling warmly at her.

"Y-Yes!" She nodded.

"Alright then come on lets go wake up Art."

So we went to his room, Zeke following closely behind me.

She knocked on his door and waited shyly, looking down at the soles of her shoes.

"Well hello there Ellie." Arthur said squatting down.

"G-G'morning Bruhder. Mama told me to w-wake you up," she replied, her head still hanging low.

"Haha, I see! Thank you very much, little sister," He patted her head trying to put her at ease. It worked, she visibly relaxed and started blushing a bit.

Extending his hand he said, "Can you show me the way to the kitchen."

Hesitating for a second she finally took his hand pulling him along with an excited nod and me following them not too far back.

After breakfast we headed out.

The city of Xyrus was beautiful. The sights that came into view as we were traveling down the main road kept me mesmerized. Magic shops, armories, spell books, even beast core shops were scattered all around the city. Extravagantly dressed nobles of all ages passed by us in their luxurious carriages. The buildings here much much taller than back in Ashber. There were children a few years older than me wearing similar uniforms with the colors varying from blue to grey and red.

Eventually we reached the fashion district. It is then I learned that shopping for clothes with women was more of a nightmare than Gramps' training regimen. We were used as mannequins for each of their preferences in clothing. Mother wanted to outfit us in simple clothes unlike Tabitha who picked clothes that would make us look like some form of prince, hell even Ellie and Lilia had us try on clothes of their choosing.

In the end we received 10 sets of clothes each, one half from mother and the other from Tabitha. While the three of us protested against Tabitha buying us anything, she reprimanded us saying it was an investment and that she always wanted a son of her own.

After storing the bags in the carriage we looked around a but more. Arthur wanted to go to the armory, reasonably so since he didn't have a weapon and was unable to train properly since returning. The others didn't want that and forced us to go to the jewelry and gem stores.

Finally we came back home, mentally and physically exhausted.

Dad returned soon after.

"So how did your day go?" He chuckled and seated himself beside Arthur.

"I never thought shopping could be so tiring." He groaned.

"A nightmare." I whisper loud enough for him to hear.

"Haha! I heard that you two got beat around by a bunch of women today." Vincent exclaimed taking a seat in front of us.

"Your little geniuses aren't as much of a big deal as I expected." Tabitha exchanged a glance with my mother whilst smirking.

"That was nowhere near our area of expertise." Came my snide remark.

"I will admit that a woman has unmatched endurance when they go out shopping." Arthur refuted shortly after me.

Father and Vincent laughed even harder and mumbled an almost inconceivable 'agreed'.

A doorbell ringing and a few knocks captured our attention.

"Ah! Looks like she's here." Vincent got up to answer the door.

Judging by the confused expression on everyone's face they weren't informed of this as well,

He returned with an elderly woman.

"I know you guys said that you want to put off school for later, but I just couldn't help it. Everyone. Meet Cynthia Goodsky! She's the Director of Xyrus Academy."

Noticing my cold gaze or Arthur's equally annoyed look he immediately tried to justify himself, "Not to worry, I didn't invite her to send you to school right away. I only wanted Her to meet you."

I sighed in frustration.

Director Goodsky gave us a smile and held out her hand to Arthur, "Nice to finally meet you, Arthur and Fayden."

I could see Arthur's inner turmoil on what to do. I'd be in a similar predicament if she extended her hand to me.

"Err...nice to meet you too Director." He shook her hand and I bowed to her, "A pleasure to meet you Director Goodsky."

Immediately Mother rushed to us and forced us to kneel, "I'm so sorry for their rude behavior, Director. They've just returned home and as such are ignorant of formal customs."

"It's quite alright. No offence taken, and please call me Cynthia. I'm sorry to intrude on you at such a late time but unfortunately, the only free time I could make was after my meeting tonight. I hope you don't mind." She said looking at my parents.

"No no no! We're thankful you took the time out just to visit our sons." Father spoke this time.

"True, it isn't very often that I take a house trip to visit a potential student. However, Vincent is a good friend and has contributed greatly to Xyrus Academy. So when he came to me to talk about not one but two prodigies, I couldn't help getting curious as well. Can you take us to an open space for a demonstration." She gazed at us as is analyzing us.

"Can I at least have din-ouch" Mother hit his head before he could finish his sentence.

"Of course. Please follow us." Mother ushered us forward as Director Cynthia followed close behind.

Sylvie came out from under the table and followed us.

"My...what a lovely mana beast. Is that your father's contract?" She kneeled down to look at her.

"No Sylvie is my bond, she hatched just recently."

"I have to say, while many nobles purchase mana beasts to form contracts but I've never seen a mana beast like yours."

"I'm not entirely sure what she is myself, her mother was a scaled wolf with wings who died fighting another wolf-like beast, who also dies soon. When we went to check them I found an egg while my brother found a newborn cub. We've been raising them ever since." he explained.

"Your brother also has a bond?" She said looking at me.

"Yes, as for what he is. You'll find out in the demonstration."

"We're here." Vincent announced.

"Let us see if Vincent was just exaggerating. He didn't tell much other than one of you is an augmenter and the other a conjurer, saying he doesn't want to spoil the surprise."

"Do either of you wish to arm yourself with a weapon?" She asked.

"Seeing that you have no intention of using your wand, I'll go barehanded as well." He replied.

She seemed satisfied with his answer and turned towards me.

"No. I will conjure my own weapons." I say.

"Well then, shall we begin." She smiles again, that same smile whose meaning I couldn't find.

Here goes nothing.

Chapter 26: Time to demonstrate

Arthur stomped his feet down and pieces of the earth were pushed up. Using this to my advantage I leaped from rock to rock and conjured twin ice swords this time. Taking another leap I exited her line of sight, behind another rock.

Meanwhile Arthur threw one of the rocks towards her. She responded with a wind barrier that blocked the rock.

Insta-casting huh. Interesting.

Let's go Zeke

Right!

Zeke came out of my shadow and positioned himself in front of me. I grabbed him and mentally shouted. NOW!

Instantly I was taken to a world of shadows holding on to the small body of Zeke, which surprisingly was strong enough to pull me along. On closer inspection his body emitted a faint white glow. So he's augmenting huh?

I couldn't ponder any linger as we came out of the directors shadow and I proceeded a twin diagonal 'X' like slice, fully expecting to get her.

What I didn't expect was her noticing me and blowing me away with a wind tornado.

"So, your bond is a shadow wolf." She said.

Giving a nod I looked around the courtyard.

I could see Arthur coming in a tornado of wind. So I decided on the same, creating a maelstrom of wind mixed with particles of ice conjured in it, and charged her.

Within this short timeframe she managed to chant another spell. The mixture of our three spells absolutely annihilated the paved ground but barely harmed either of us.

"Impressive," she said, "try to stay conscious."

She pointed her fingers at us and blasted us with magic. Sound magic.

My eardrums felt like they would be torn any moment and my ocular fluids vibrated at such intensity that I feared my eyes would burst. So I took a risk, I tried augmenting.

I know I almost killed myself back then, but that was almost four months ago and I've broken through to light red stage since then.

From the corner of my eyes I saw Arthur admitting defeat, suppressing his pride. But my pride wont go down that easily, not until I have tried everything, everything other than using my beast will that is.

I conjured a cloak of pure mana around me and allowed my body to absorb it. From the outside it would look like I was bathed in white flames before they formed a layer over my body.

Looking at my arm I saw it covered in a white film of mana. But I couldn't be excited about this achievement now, not while my ears were still ringing, eyes still unsteady, albeit at a much lower level.

Reluctantly I sat down admitting defeat, much like my brother.

Looking up I saw the shocked faces of everyone, other than Arthur who only grinned at my achievement. In the heat of the moment I didn't really have it in me to be excited. But now? Now I had a ear splitting grin plastered on my face and many, many more moves in my arsenal.

"That should be enough of a demonstration right?" Arthur broke the silence.

"Y-yes....It was quite sufficient." Director Cynthia managed to regain her composure in time.

"Y-You two can use more elements?" The baffled voice of my Father cut in.

"What do you mean 'more elements'?" Director Cynthia asked with a confused face.

"Th-they used fire magic yesterday, a-and lightning, burning down my lawn. That's why I brought them here." Vincent spoke with an equally baffled face.

"S-surely you jest... you mean to tell me that both those boys can manipulate 3 elements and at least one to its deviant form?" She lost her composure once again.

"Four actually, the two of us control all four elements, technically." Arthur said displaying his control by manipulating said elements on the palm of his hand.

"What he means to say is that, even though we have the affinity for all four elements the extent of our control varies. While Arthur has his highest affinity in Fire and Water, and average in Wind and Earth, I have my highest in Fire and Water, same as him, decent affinity in wind and absolutely abysmal in earth. We are also deviant in Fire and Water although with me having more control over their deviant forms, probably as a tradeoff of having such low Earth affinity."

Silence followed, no one spoke. The only noises being the distant chirping of birds.

Cliché.

The leader of the most prestigious school in the continent was barely able to stumble to the chair. Then she started chuckling, much to our confusion, which soon turned to a full blown laughter.

After managing to get a hold of herself she turned towards us, "If I may repeat, you're both quarda-elemental mages with control over two higher forms?"

"Correct," Arthur replied.

"Demonstrate," She demanded, and the once friendly grandmother turned to a veteran killer with a menacing glare as she raised her hand causing the ambient mana to fluctuate.

A vacuum of wind started pulling us towards her, and an invisible sphere of wind formed in her other palm.

This woman!

Arthur reacted first, forming fire in one hand and water in the other he mixed the two, cloaking us in an explosion of steam.

I formed a javelin of condensed ice, supercharged it with lightning and threw it at her. At the same time Arthur created his own lance to throw, although he didn't infuse lightning.

She blocked both of them!

I tried to form [Ember Bolt] but on a much larger scale, but before I could do she launched Arthur towards me by a sound wave.

"Phew. I have to say I'm very impressed. You pass, both of you."

Getting back up I realized just how weak I am compared to the elite mages of this continent. If all the professors at Xyrus Academy are as strong my magic is bound to skyrocket.

"Sorry for hiding this from you." Arthur said turning towards them.

"Well they never did as-OW! Sorry! Definitely sorry." I was corrected by a not-so-subtle kick in the shin from my brother.

"Please you two, just no more secrets." My mother smiled wryly with concern still etched on her face.

Sorry mom. I cannot promise you that. Maybe someday, but not today. Not while I'm still so weak.

"Are Bruhders strong, mama?" Ellie asked, not quite understanding the gravity of the situation.

"Very strong, little one. Perhaps the Strongest duo in the future." Director Cynthia said patting her head.

As they started talking between each other on what this could entail Director Cynthia created a sound barrier around us. Shocking the others as they tried to enter but with no avail.

"They cannot hear for the duration of the spell, so speak your mind." she said.

"Truth is, we revealed our abilities because there are two things we need. Power and Influence," I began.

"Keep our family safe until either of us become strong enough to protect us themselves and we'll attend your school and consider you our benefactor." Arthur continued.

"Hah! Even the king and Queen wouldn't propose such a one-sided dead, what makes you think I would agree to establish such a relationship with mere children." She responded laughing incredulously

"Because said children have the potential to be the strongest duo in the future, you said so yourself." I shot back.

"Although our end of the deal will have to wait until we actually attend the academy." Arthur spoke.

"Hmm?" She said, puzzled at what Arthur said.

" We plan to attend the academy at a 'normal' age, after our twelfth birthday." He continued

"Goodness! that's over 3 years from now! What do you plan to do until then?" I expected she wouldn't be so compliant.

"We would like to become adventurers,"

Chapter 27: A companion

"NO! Absolutely not! No way! Do either of you know how dangerous it is! You've just returned, after we thought you were dead, and now you want to go and get yourself killed out there? Absolutely no way!" My mom was in hysterics, tears glistening at the corners of her eyes.

Ellie was clutching her leg, "Mama, don't be mad. No mad."

Director Goodsky had left with the Helstea's soon after our announcement, sensing that we might need some time alone.

Dad however was still rational. He didn't seem to like the idea as well, but there was no reason for us to not be adventurers, other than our age that is.

"Honey, I'm not saying I agree with them becoming adventurers, but let's at least hear them out." Dad finally spoke.

"How can you even sat that after what happened that day, after what we had to go through." She said breaking down to a sobbing mess.

After an hour of waiting until Mom calmed down I could see this was getting us nowhere so I took her hand and spoke, trying to convince her, " Mother, I wasn't planning to leave now, at least not for a few months. We were looking forward to spending some time with you."

Arthur, sensing my intentions also spoke up, "Besides being in the Elf Kingdom for so long made us miss a lot about what I should know. We thought becoming an adventurer would help us gain practical experience," placing his hands on top of Mom's

" I understand where you two are coming from. I was also excited to gain some real life experience after awakening, although I was a bit older." Dad reminisced, " But your mother is right in worrying. No matter how prepared or strong you think you are it is dangerous and unpredictable."

Should we tell them about the wills? Maybe then they will allow us to go.

I was about to reveal all of it but Art beat me to it, ""Dad. Mom. What if I were to have some sort of guard or supervisor with me? Wouldthat make you feel a bit more at ease with this whole idea?"

Yeah that would do it too.

"That's actually a pretty good idea." Dad pondered.

Instantly my Mother was in front of him, grabbing his collar and swinging him back and forth, "How can you even consider it!? I will not let you send our sons away for another 3 years.!"

After settling down on the couch, dad had a defeated posture, as if he was dead inside, and mom had a smile so sinister all four of us were in cold sweat.

"I was actually planning on coming back every few months, O-or even more frequently between missions." Arthur stuttered out.

"Really?" she asked in a dangerous tone.

Arthur and Sylvie nodded vigorously.

She turned to me, "Y-yeah we'll try to come home as much as we can."

I could feel Zeke quivering in my shadow.

Beings said to be on par with gods were terrified of my mother. Go figure.

"Bruhders leaving awredy?" Ellie asked with a crestfallen expression, on the verge of breaking down.

Instantly I was on my feet, "Nonononono! We'll be staying right here and you'll get to be with us a lot from now okay?" I said as I started to panic.

"Yeah we will be spending a lot of time together Ellie." I could tell my brother was as panicked as me.

"I'm not agreeing yet, but answer this atleast....why do you want to be an adventurer now? Wouldn't it make more sense to go to school before becoming one?"

"Well, even if we did go to school now we'd be a fair bit younger than everybody there, and possibly might make no friends." I reasoned.

"Y-you don't have to go to school now, but what if you helped your father instead or-"

My Mother was cut off as Dad butted in, "They will be fine."

"Thanks Dad."

"Thank you." Arthur and me speak at the same time.

I'll finally get to use my skills in a real fight and gauze exactly how much stronger I've grown.

The next day being a Sunday left my father with his day off, and the Leywin family and the Helstea family dining together for breakfast, "So did you guys settle on what to do with them?" asked Vincent.

"We agreed to let them become adventurers under some conditions." Mother replied.

"Oh? What conditions?" Tabitha responded.

"First, they'll wait until after their birthday in three months. Secondly, they will have a guard on him at all times during missions. And lastly they'll have to visit at least once per two months. They are smart enough to manage the rest" Dad clarified.

"Do you have anyone in mind to be their guard? Heck is there even a guard capable of guarding them?"

This had everyone sweat drop.

"We were interrupted by Ellie using her forks to imitate Sylvie, "Papa! Look! I'm Swevy!"

I chuckled at her.

"That's it! I got it!" Dad said ramming his hands on the table.

"The Twin Horns will be coming back from an expedition in a dungeon soon. I receiveda letter from the Adventurer Guild Hall that says they should be back within two months! We can have one of them go with the boys!" My father exclaimed, his eyes filled with excitement.

"That's actually a great idea." Mom said surprised.

Dad turned towards her, "Honey, can you not be so surprised at me for having a good idea?"

She chuckled nervously as a response.

The twin horns huh?

Jasmine, Helen, Durden, Angela, and Adam.

As I recited their names every single one of their faces came into my mind.

I guess we'll meet again soon.

Chapter 28: Accessories for an adventurer

*knock* *knock*

"Yes?"

"Its Arthur and Fayden."

Vincent opened the door and looked at us curously, "Ah come in! What brings you two here? you've never come here before."

"Ah, yes. There is a certain matter I wish to talk to you about today, hence our visit." Arthur said as he looked around the room.

Vincent Helstea POV

Were these children really 8 year olds.

His tone made shivers run down my spine. Why was I so nervous of this 'certain matter' he wishes to talk about?

"We would like your help in retrieving a few items that are rather hard to acquire otherwise." Fayden spoke, "Two cloaks or robes, preferably hooded, two masks capable of altering our voices, and a sword fit for Arthur's size.

It was fairly easy to figure out why they wanted such items. As the owner of the Helstea auction house it shouldn't be that hard to find these items, although retrieving the masks might be a bit hard considering a sound deviant would be needed to make it.

Yet, why were these 8year olds exerting pressure much higher than even the King of Sapin?

Is this their true face?

"Sure, it shouldn't be a problem acquiring those items, although the mask will be a bit harder to get. But we'll have it in time."

"Thank you..." Arthur trailed off, "As for compensation, while we don't have money, I believe we can train Lilia to be a mage."

"Excuse me?" I said, shocked from the sudden proposal. Was it really possible?

"Although you and your wife are not mages, I can help your daughter awaken as a mage. However I don't know if it will be in time for her to attend Xyrus academy." Arthur explained.

"Leave that to me. With the two of us helping her it should theoretically cut the time in half," Fayden continued.

"I-Is that really possible?" I manage to stutter out.

"Yes, although it will take some time. I trust you can keep this secret? We don't exactly want nobles coming to us to help their children awaken." Fayden replies to my question.

"With that allow us to excuse ourselves." Arthur continued as we left the office.

Fayden Leywin POV:

Going into my room I sit down on the floor in lotus position. As I activate phase 1 of my beast will. Immediately the shadows of the room draw towards me as my sclera turn black while the rest of my eyes glow a bright blue.

I form a ball of fire in my hand and will the shadows to integrate itself with the flame. For a while it seems to be successful as the orange hue of the flame started to darken. But when it seemed I would succeed finally the flame was extinguished.

Sigh.

I have a long way to go.

And so I kept practicing all day, to such an extent that I fainted for a few minutes.

But those few minutes were all it took for an old memory to resurface. A memory I wished I could forget.

3rd person POV:

In the pitch black darkness of the night a seven year old boy is shown to be walking in the empty streets with an indifferent expression.

But that didn't last. As he looked towards the direction to his home all he saw was an orange glow with black smoke rising from it.

In an instant the boys expression turned to one of fear. He ran, hoping against all odds it isn't what he thinks it is.

It was.

His home, which could once be called beautiful, was in shambles. With the doors and windows broken and the once precious articles littered on the ground, it was clear someone had broken in to look for something.

Franticaly he searched around the entire house. But when he finally did find his family, it was beyond anything he ever expected.

Fayden Leywin POV:

I woke up to the feeling of something nudging my head.

I groan as I get up.

Zeke is there standing at my side.

Are you okay dad?

He probably saw me faint and got worried.

Yeah, I'm fine Zeke, sorry about that. Got a bit too carried away while training.

Yeah a bit.

Is that sarcasm?

Sigh.

It seems like its already evening. They should be back by now.

Lets go, the others are probably back.

I arrived in time to see Ellie say, "Hmph! Bruhder is a meanie." With her lower lip puckered.

"For not going shopping with you? Yeah Sorry about that." I make my presence known as I went towards her to pat her head.

Seems like Arthur had a similar idea as he came forward with me, resulting in Ellie getting a double headpat.

She turned her head at our actions, and couldn't help but have a smile on her face.

"So how was shopping Mom, Lady Tabitha? Did you buy a lot of stuff?" Arthur asked with his hand still on Ellie's head.

"Not much, just a few new outfits for Ellie and Lilia." Mom responded.

A storm of footsteps heralded the arrival of Vincent, with red eyes and an ear splitting smile on his face.

He ran towards his daughter and picked her up kissing her cheek, "You're finally here!"

"Honey, whats going on? Why are you so flustered? And are you crying?" Tabitha had a face full of bewilderment and worry, and rightfully so. Vincent looked batshit crazy at the moment.

"Haven't you two told them?"

"Yeah we were getting there, before you came barging in." Came my remark.

"Tell us what?" Mom was concerned as well.

"The two of us discussed with Mr. Vincent about teaching Ellie and Lilia mana manipulation, from today. That is if Lady Tabitha agrees." I explain further.

"..."

"If this is your idea of a prank, you two, then you went too far," Tabitha seemed angered by our proposal.

"I assure you I would never joke about something like that, neither would I ever play with anyone's feelings like that." I said with equal amounts of hostility.

During all this I never once noticed the amount of bloodlust I was releasing. But the sight of my and the Helstea family shaking in their boots shook me out of my trance.

Releasing my bloodlust I bowed down, "I'm sorry, it seems I'm not in the best mental state at the moment."

"A-Anyways lets go to the living room." Vincent said, even now enthusiastic about Lilia's awakening procedure.

Moving towards Arthur I spoke quite enough that only he would hear me, "Start without me, I need to cool off a little."

Damn it, I lost my cool!

Overusing Noctis' will made me short tempered for a while.

I'll have to be careful in the future.

If only I could build some sort of immunity to the thing.

Time to get to work I guess.

What was the breathing technique again?

Oh yeah.

This continues for a good 2 hours before I'm calm enough to control myself.

I arrive just in time to see Ellie, Lilia and Arthur getting up from the ground.

I move towards the Helstea's and bow down, "I'd like to apologize for my outburst earlier I was not in the right state of mind, although that doesn't excuse it."

"It's alright, I shouldn't have said that. You are more mature than any kid of your age and wouldn't be so insensitive."

"Thank you," I say and move towards the trio.

"Has Arthur explain the basics?" I ask

Ellie nods enthusiastically, while Lilia was still a bit hesitant.

Guess I really did go overboard before if she's still scared of me. Although Ellie seems unaffected that's mostly because she is too young to sense such things.

"Can you two still go for another round?"

"Yes," I received a verbal response this time.

"Alright lets get it done." I sat down while motioning them to do the same.

They sit down beside me facing away.

I place both hands on their backs and infused some of my mana into their bodies eliciting two yelps.

"I see them." Lilia spoke up for the first time since my arrival.

"Pwetty!"

"Try gathering them now."

After an hour I stopped the flow of mana, after their dormant mana is triggered.

Heaving a sigh of relief I got up standing beside Arthur.

"How is it? D-Do you think Lilia will be able to become a mage?" Both the Helstea parents were a mess. They had anxious looks on their faces while Vincent was nervously chewing on a fingernail, hell even my mother was a bit uneasy.

Arthur looks at me and I gesture him to go ahead, "Don't worry, both of them will awaken as mages within two years. We had initially planned to do this everyday for the next few months that we will be home. By then they will have formed their core-"

Before he could finish speaking we were engulfed in a hug by a crying Tabitha, "Thank you, oh thank you, my baby will become a mage. I'm sorry for doubting you."

Meanwhile Vincent was crying rivers gazing at the meditating Lilia.

After a few more hours later our mana dispersed from their bodies, as such they had to stop meditating.

Soon after Dad came back home and was overjoyed by the fact that the Helstea's will finally have a mage.

Of course that wasn't the only thing he was excited for, "Awww, my baby girl is going to be as strong as her older brothers. Promise me you wont surpass me. Or I'll be very sad."

I shook my head at his antics while Mother laughed at them and Ellie was giggling, trying to push Dad's face away, "Papa! Your beard tickles! Stop~"

We had quite an extravagant dinner party that night.

Damn Vincent and Tabitha didn't hold back at all.

The next few days included honing my elemental affinities, condensing my core and of course trying to master my beast will.

I can do basic earth manipulation now, and phase 1 no longer make me cranky unless used in excess.

(A/N: For clarification the side effect of becoming angry quickly is still there but only when he is using his will. After deactivating it his mind will be back to normal. The exception to this is overuse, if he overexerts himself using the beast will then even after deactivation he will be short tempered temporarily)

I also found out something especially peculiar about the swords Gramps had entrusted me with.

Turns out I cant augment it. I can still dull it for practice sessions yes, but if I infuse too much mana it starts to shake uncontrollably. I think I even heard a crack once.

After that I stopped infusing mana in it. It was sturdy enough anyways.

Besides this Arthur and I spent a few hours everyday watching over Ellie and Lilia, although it was mostly Arthur.

I say this because most of the time I am in my acquire phase, trying to remove it's side effect.

One day Arthur asked mom about her abilities as an emitter, he asked how she had trained, since the scarcity of emitters would make finding a mentor extremely difficult. She simply replied saying that a woman needs to have a few secrets of her own.

How the hell is being a woman connected to being an emitter?

Whatever, I won't pry. She would've told us if we needed to know about it.

This had me thinking, is being a deviant hereditary?

If so could I possibly awaken as a deviant?

Questions for another time I guess.

Two weeks before our birthday, loud obnoxious knocks on our door disturbed us.

And when the door opened to reveal the faces of an all to familiar group.

I couldn't help but smile.

Chapter 30: The Twin Horns

"Who is-OOF"

Instantly we were engulfed in a hug from Angela.

More like death trap.

I regret putting my guard down.

"Oh thank Gods! You were alive! I'm sorry for not being able to protect you two!"

We'll not be alive for long if this keeps up.

Beside me Arthur was trying to say something, only for it to be muffled. Meanwhile I was here flailing my arms around.

Durden comes to the rescue once again.

He placed his hand on Angela's shoulder, "Angela I don't think they can breath..."

Upon hearing that she released us, "Eep! Sorry, I got a bit too emotional,"

A bit is an understatement.

Heaving in a deep breath I spoke, "Damn Durden you've hit a growth spurt."

A lone tear fell from his face, "I could say the same about you two,"

He kneeled down to our level and patted our head.

"I thought we were supposed to put on happy faces for them. So what's with all these tears?" Adam said, leaning on the doorframe.

He was interrupted as Helen came up behind him and used her bowstring to strangle him, "You can ignore this fool,"

"We're glad to see you all grown up and even more handsome," the ever-charismatic Helen Shard said.

The sound of footsteps caught my attention, I turned to the door only to see a black and green blur before being engulfed in yet another hug.

From the corner of my eyes I can see Arthur has met with the same fate.

Looking down to see the face of whoever hugged us I was left even more surprised.

Jasmine Flamesworth was hugging us, while letting out sniffles and incoherent words whoch almost sounded like 'I'm sorry'

'Well this is unexpected' I mouthed to Arthur who was looking at me with an equally confusing expression.

Arthur proceeded to pat her head resulting in her peeling herself off us and standing up with her body turned away from us and her face a bright red.

At this moment Zeke chose to show himself.

As if on cue Sylvie also trots towards Arthur.

"WOAH! What are those!" Adam exclaimed, eliciting a look of surprise from the rest of the twin horns, even Jasmine.

"Her name is Sylvie, and she's my contract bond,"

"This is Zeke, my bond."

"Holy shit! You already have beast contracts? Those are extremely valuable. I've been trying to look for one for years, but I could never find one. Lucky brats!" Adam was seething in jealousy.

"What's with all the commotion- Ah you're here!" Father came down the stairs, only to see his ex-party members and rushing towards them, and proceeds to hug every one of them.

Mother and Ellie come soon after.

"Everyone, it's so good to see you again!"

Almost immediately everyone rushed her and started cooing to my sister.

"She looks just like you Alice. She'll grow up to be pretty!" "...cute" "You're going to have your hands full soon with potential candidates."

A few minutes later the Helstea's came down sporting black suits and dresses. After introductions it was decided that the Twin horns would come with us to the Helstea auction house. On the way we explained what happened after the fall. To say that they were shocked about me staying in the kingdom of Elenoir for more than 4 years would be an understatement.

We couldn't completely fill them in on what happened since the ride was pretty short.

The Helstea auction house was breathtaking to say the least. Even compared to the monuments I had seen in my previous life this was on another level. With intricate designs all over and the main doors being 4 meters tall it was a masterpiece.

We were early enough that only the workers and guards were present. Inside it was even more magnificent. The front door opened to a path that lead to a stage all the way on the other side. Rows of escalating purple leather seats were present to our left and right.

There were incased booth located at the very top of the rows of seats and even further higher, there was room attached to the ceiling and back wall with glass surrounding it giving a clear view to the stage.

Turns out that's where we'd be staying, Father and the Twin Horns parted ways with us there, to coordinate with the guards. Vincent separated next, shouting orders at the workers and greeting the more important guests.

We were lead to the viewing room by Tabitha. The room had intricate designs and furniture's. A wine rack, a few couches and tables decorated the room. We made ourselves comfortable on the couches

A few moments later Vincent came back leading a group of people behind him. The first one to come through was an aged man with long burgundy hair, with grey streaks. His back was ramrod straight with broad shoulders that took off years in his appearance. His stern eyes and sword shaped eyebrows made him look even more fierce. He was dressed in a red robe with white fur adorning the collars and a cane of white gold. Behind him was a middle aged lady, a few youngers older than my Mother. Her face resembled an ice sculpture; refined, elegant, noble and flawless, and at the same time cold and emotionless. She was wearing a shimmering silvery white dress that complimented her dark blue hair that draped over her shoulders very well.

With the number of guards behind them it would be safe to assume they were from some important noble family.

Behind them were two kids, possibly their own. The older boy looked 13-14 with mahogany hair, serious brown eyes and straight eyebrows taking more after his father. The younger girl was of my age or maybe even younger. I could tell she would grow to be beautiful, with her porcelain white complexion and flawless face. Her eyes which seemed much more mature than her age were of dark brown hue, brought out even more by her long eyelashes. Her hair was a glaring black, obviously from her mother. Contrasting to that her lips were of a lighter shade of pink which glistened faintly.

Hey don't judge me.

....I blame early puberty.

"Announcing His majesty, Blaine Glayder, Her majesty, Priscilla Glayder, Prince Curtis Glayder and Princess Kathlyn Glayder."

I see

Wait what?

They are Royalty?
