Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – Rainbow Legend! Ecchi Buffs!

In this world, tags were the supreme power.

Although Jin had mentally prepared himself, seeing the full scope of Luffy's tag template still left him stunned.

No wonder... no wonder Kaido got crushed so hard. This wasn't just cheating—this was straight-up bullying.

That one tag alone—[Sit-Ups (Gold)]—was enough to make countless bosses in the original story cry in frustration.

Jin's lips twitched. As expected of the chosen protagonist picked by that troll Oda.

And yet, as he kept scrolling down, even Jin—who considered himself all-knowing—couldn't hold it in anymore.

This was the first time he'd ever seen an "Ecchi Buff"!

NewBEE!(cracks voice)

This was seriously out of control!!!

Jin was absolutely dumbfounded. He'd come to a terrifying realization:

—This world was seriously messed up.

The only unfortunate thing was that Luffy's Rubber Fruit hadn't generated its own tag.

"Rubber is supposed to be the core power… but I skipped the basics and directly plundered the Nika Form. Feels like I just built a castle in the sky."

Still, by stealing the Nika Form, he had effectively locked out Luffy's ceiling.

There'd be plenty of chances to regrow the Rubber Fruit later.

"Plunder tag!"

Looking at the unconscious Luffy, Jin activated his system with a thought.

Buzz buzz buzz—!!

A radiant light—visible only to Jin—shot into his body like a beam of energy.

Plundering complete!

[Overall Evaluation:]

So what if you've got tags? You're still a newbie bottom-feeder!

Brutal... but accurate.

After five years with his golden finger, Jin had a solid grasp of the power rankings in this world.

T0 = God Tier — like Imu or Joy Boy from 800 years ago.

T1 = King Tier — Rocks, Roger, Whitebeard, etc.

Then it went down: T2 Admiral/Yonko level...

And then there was T7.

Yeah… there's literally no one in the story at this level to compare it to.

Basically, he was some nameless NPC.

But wait—where's my Conqueror's Haki!?

Jin frowned, scanning back and forth across his tag panel.

Just then, Luffy—now conscious—interrupted him.

"Huh~? I actually passed out?"

He looked at Jin in a daze for a few seconds… then suddenly jumped up.

"Jin! Where's that guy in glasses?! I blacked out just now—must've been the hypnosis guy, right?!"

As soon as he spoke, Luffy stretched his neck several meters high, scanning the area.

"Weird… where'd they go?"

"...I took care of them," Jin replied calmly. "Also, there's something I need to tell you."

He pulled Luffy's neck back into place and said seriously,

"Luffy, I've decided to quit the Straw Hat crew."

"Huh!?"

Jin had already thought of a reason—something vague like "I just don't get along with the crew."

He left behind a final line:

"Let's part ways on good terms."

Then turned around and walked away.

Leaving a very confused boy standing in the wind.

(O口O?)? ← Luffy

"After all these days of playing the part… finally, that arc's wrapped up."

Inside the only mansion in Syrup Village—

Jin gazed at his own reflection in the mirror. That smug, handsome face stared back, but he felt strangely calm.

Five years of isolation in the deep mountain forest had shaped him into a cold and indifferent person.

He had once considered joining a pirate crew.

But their naive optimism was something Jin could never vibe with.

Different paths, different ideals. Better to part ways early.

"Jin-nii, did you say something?"

A girl with short, pale-golden hair walked over. She blinked her big brown eyes and asked curiously.

"Nothing."

Jin looked at the tall, fair-skinned girl before him and couldn't help but smile.

"Hungry?"

"Mhm."

Kaya nodded softly and looked up at the boy bathed in sunlight. Her gaze sparkled.

At seventeen, she was right at that age where love bloomed easily.

Of course—

—The moment she first met Jin, she already felt… strange.

Heh. Shallow love-struck girl.

In the dining room, Kaya stirred her spoon absentmindedly, clearly hesitating.

Finally, she couldn't hold it in any longer. Her crystal-clear eyes shimmered as she looked up:

"Jin-nii… thank you!"

She wasn't even sure what exactly she was thanking him for.

From the moment Jin appeared, her whole world had lit up.

Three days ago—

Jin had descended upon Syrup Village like a beam of light.

He healed her body, exposed Kuro's plot, saved the village, and avenged her.

To her, Jin was a hero.

"You don't need to thank me."

Seeing her tear up, Jin gently reached out and wiped her face.

Not minding the closeness, he added softly,

"You're my future ship doctor, after all."

"If you really want to thank me, hit the books and study medicine. That would be the best reward."

Kaya didn't really catch anything he said after that. From the moment Jin wiped her tears, she'd tuned everything else out.

But… she felt like whatever he said made sense.

Handsome = Always Right!

"Got it, Jin-nii! I'll study medicine really hard from now on!"

Then she bit her lip and added:

"But… I also have a gift for you."

"There's this fruit in my house with strange markings. I heard it can make people stronger… but you'll have to see it yourself."

She looked uncertain, still thinking about how reliable the fruit actually was.

But then Jin suddenly interrupted:

"A marked fruit? Where did it come from!?"

"Mr. Merry went out to find medicine for me. He bought it from someone for a huge sum. Said it could improve my health..."

Jin listened patiently, then raised an eyebrow.

"So why didn't you eat it?"

"Because it looked kinda scary."

Kaya stuck out her tongue playfully.

"And Mr. Merry thought it was weird too. He didn't want me to eat it, and was thinking of reselling it."

"Did the seller mention the fruit's name?" Jin's breathing quickened.

"No. That person was actually being chased by the Marines at the time."

Kaya recalled,

"Mr. Merry said the deal was super rushed. After paying, the guy literally turned into a hunting dog and ran off."

Turned into a hunting dog?

Got it. He'd eaten a Zoan-type Devil Fruit!

"But the fruit itself…"

Kaya thought aloud,

"It really looks like the Devil Fruits shown in the papers."

Jin:Knew it!

Another storyline outside the original canon!

Ever since meeting Luffy, he'd encountered all sorts of things that didn't match the original manga. He was getting used to it.

But a Devil Fruit?

Now that was a jackpot!

"Kaya, I could just kiss you right now!" Jin was practically bouncing with excitement.

A fruit ability was exactly what he'd been missing!

Overwhelmed with joy, he accidentally blurted out what was in his heart.

And then—

Kaya's brain crashed.

She stared at Jin in shock. When she came to, her cheeks flushed deep red, and her head practically started steaming.

"Y-Y-You can't just say stuff like that!! That's not okay!"

Jin: "…"
