Chapter 194 - Professor McGonagall: “speachless”

As expected, for the sake of money, things like dignity and restraint can be tossed aside!!!

Once again, Allen convinced himself in his heart: I'm here to save someone, not because I'm some kind of pervert! With that self-justification firmly in place, he sprinted toward his destination, the girls' washroom.

But what happened next was even more awkward, just as Allen rounded a corner, a new trio was formed: The Pervert Trio.

At this moment, in this place, three gentlemen crossed paths.

This encounter would mark the beginning of a new reform in the magical world. From this day forth, a ray of light broke through the dull, grey skies of the once-vulgar wizarding society.

…Unfortunately, the scene didn't unfold with the warm spirit of a historic handshake between comrades. Instead,

Allen, with a serious expression: "Why are first-years still running around? Didn't you hear the Headmaster or the prefects?"

Harry: "Sorry! We really have an emergency. Our friend's gone missing!"

Ron: "Allen, seriously, knock it off, we really do have a problem!"

Allen: "I'm not listening! I'm not listening! I don't care what you say, clearly you're just here to cause trouble! La la la, still not listening!"

Of course, Allen didn't really refuse to listen. After some friendly exchanges, the two young wizards realized the error of their ways. They now understood that running around the school at night as first-years only caused more chaos for everyone.

Out of curiosity, they asked Allen what he was doing there.

His answer was straightforward: he was there to deal with the troll.

But just as they were talking, a beastly roar echoed through the air, followed by a violent tremor that shook the ground.

At the sound, Harry and Ron saw Allen's expression change drastically.

"Damn it, I'm too late!!!" he shouted. Without hesitation, he kicked the door of the washroom open with a loud bang.

As he had feared, inside the bathroom the troll was, getting absolutely wrecked.

Its heavy wooden club had already been reduced to charcoal by fire. Though it looked like good-quality firewood, no one in their right mind would use it for a barbecue.

The scene was almost comical. The troll, squat and bulky, was pinned under the foot of Tibbers. The bear's flaming leg was pressing hard on the troll's face, bending it downward while it slapped the creature over and over.

The flame-infused slaps were brutally effective. Even the troll's thick hide couldn't protect it, its swollen face left it barely able to whimper, its only response being the spasms of its massive body.

As for its arms and legs? Please, do you think something the size of Tibbers wouldn't crush a few "flowers and plants" on the way down? Its limbs had definitely been broken…

"Ah? Big Brother, you're here!" Annie greeted Allen with a smile. Behind her, a familiar little face peeked out, a pale and shaken girl, now smiling faintly with relief.

At that very moment, the only background sound was a rhythmic slap slap slap, making the whole bathroom scene feel like they'd stumbled into the wrong kind of establishment. Maybe a seedy bar or a KTV lounge…

Finally, under one last heavy slap from Tibbers, the poor troll found peace, at least temporarily. Whether it would be chopped up or turned into fertilizer later was anyone's guess.

"Let's go. This place isn't exactly suited for casual conversation," Allen muttered, frowning as he looked around the room.

It wasn't that he had anything against anyone, but honestly, the smell in here was unbearable.

The scent wafting through Tibbers' fiery shield was a horrific blend of troll sweat, rotten socks, and the kind of public bathroom that had never been cleaned. Words like nauseating barely did it justice.

The others agreed immediately. No one liked a smell that reminded them of microwaved durian pits.

Unfortunately, that's when the final guest arrived.

And by the law of drama, the later someone arrives, the more important they are.

This time, it was none other than one of the top figures in the school:

Deputy Headmistress, Professor Minerva McGonagall, Head of Gryffindor House.

And for the record, she was the toughest professor to deal with in the entire school. Compared to her, even Professor Snape had a soft spot for his own house. McGonagall? She didn't go easy on anyone, not even her own students.

Right behind her came Professor Snape and Professor Quirrell. By the time the three teachers arrived, Tibbers had already been dismissed, leaving behind a troll lying in blissful unconsciousness.

"Well, ladies and gentlemen," McGonagall said coolly, "Would someone care to explain what exactly happened here?"

Allen opened his mouth to speak, only to be instantly silenced by a look from McGonagall. Retreating to a corner, he began drawing invisible circles on the floor in shame.

He had just been visually condemned.

After scanning the group, Professor McGonagall's gaze stopped on the two girls. Between the Slytherin-born Annie and the Gryffindor overachiever, she clearly trusted her own house more.

"Miss Granger," she said, nodding to Hermione. "Please explain what happened."

"I… I was feeling a little upset earlier," Hermione said, bowing her head sheepishly. "So I went to the bathroom. Then the troll barged in. Thankfully, Annie was there. She took it down."

McGonagall believed her. After all, she still remembered all too well how Allen and Annie had knocked out a professor not long ago.

But then her expression darkened as she turned to the boys.

"Well, gentlemen, would either of you like to explain why you were in the girls' bathroom?"

Allen replied calmly, "Oh, Professor, I heard about the troll and realized my little sister was missing. I was worried she couldn't handle it alone, so I came to find her."

McGonagall gave the faintest of nods. Allen was in the clear.

As for the others, well, better them than me.

"So, Mr. Weasley, Mr. Potter," McGonagall said, her voice cold as steel, "Would either of you like to explain your presence here?"

"Professor, I'm very sorry," Harry said, stepping forward. "This morning, I said something awful that made Miss Granger very upset. When we heard about the troll, I was afraid she didn't know. So I dragged Ron along to apologize."

To Allen's surprise, Harry took all the blame himself.

That gesture softened McGonagall's expression noticeably. Hermione's shocked but moved reaction made the story's origin clear enough, and that improved the professor's mood even more.

"Very well. Fifteen points from Gryffindor," she said sternly. "Please do not break school rules again."

Her tone was cold, but Allen could've sworn he heard a hint of approval behind it.

"In light of Miss Annie's outstanding performance, ten points to Slytherin. As for you, Mr. Allen, I suggest you take a few lessons from your little sister."

"Now then, ladies and gentlemen, it's late. Let's put this matter behind us."

However, the moment they stepped out of the bathroom,

BOOM!!

The washroom exploded.••┈┈┈┈┈༓┈┈┈┈┈•••
