Chapter 1 - 1. Lemuria First

Heres how this tale begins. This is the chaos, peace, harmony and or suffering that is sure to occur if God's were all to be within same space.

And of course, we'll have to speak of the heroes that have risen across all stories.

Once upon a time.

Mortals lived in the same space with those beyond them.

Some called them their creators. A fraction of those qho k ew of them though. Not belivers, but those who can give diefinitive proof of such existences.

Some didn't even know they existed. They weren't ignorant. They just didn't know a thing about them.

A country is located East of Lemuria, a continents under the rule of King Prometheus. The oldest of four brothers.

A king revered and admired by his subjects.

The blue sky is getting covered by black clouds. Shallow cold winds that are getting stronger blow across the open land.

A knight in a scarred and half shattered armour races with a horse that appears to be from war.

Blood dripped down tp his neck from the side of the head. He held a half shattered sword and clenched the reigns in his grasp.

A wound in his stomach was pressed by a white cloth that had turned red from his blood.

Though he persisted forward, he was growing weaker and weaker by the second. He could barely feel or even hear anything. His mind was getting hazy.

His breath was low and strained, barely holding on to dear slipping life.

"I have to... get this to his majesty." The knight muttered to himself.

The horse galloped across the open fertile land. In the distance, trees danced to the wind. The tall grass as well.

A tall castle peeked above the huge stone built walls. A fading and hopeful smile appeared and disappeared foem the man's lips.

As if sensing the man's hope, the horse picked up more speed. It wasn't wounded in the least, but it was splattered blood. Parts of the covering and armour on it also had fine cuts.

As the horse approached the gates, the guards rolled them up.

It didn't halt, but raced straight to the King's quarters and halted at the entrance.

The horse stomped on the ground, causing for a noticeable distraction.

The man on it fell on the ground and groaned deeply, gritting his teeth.

The guards at the entrance rushed to him and rolled him over.

"You there... are you okay?" The guard spoke in an authoritative tone. He could still notice that the armour he wore belonged to their forces.

He looked at the knight struggling to get up from the ground. The man hissed and forced himself up.

The knight coughed up blood and as he clenched his wound to stop the bleeding.

He wiped away the blood and stood, staggering a little.

"Take me... inside... this instant." The knight ordered the men.

The two guards were about to question who he was to order them but instantly realised who this was.

"Lieutenant? What happened to you?" They asked in surprise.

"I said.. take me in. You..." He pointed to one of the guards.

"Arrange an audience with his majesty. Also, tighten security and get everyone ready." The knight referred to as the Lieutenant staggered to one of the guard.

He used him to balance himself and headed in. The man was bleeding profusely. But somehow, he was keeping the blood loss to a minimum.

As they reached the throne room, King Prometheus walked in with ome other man.

He was his advisor, friend and personal guard, Flamma.

"Dear heavens, what has happend to him?" Prometheus dropped the sword in his hand and rushed to tend to the man.

He was about to heal the gasping man, ut the knight grabbed the kings hand.

"He's back. The old ones are coming. He's already back. All of them are--" The man coughed up blood as he spoke frantically.

"Calm down now. You need to heal up first Lieutenant." Prometheus tried to calm the man.

Instead, the man pulled out a scroll and two pages from under his cracked armour. The brown scroll was the most urgent message he was delivering.

But he did nothing else. The knight collapsed to the spot. He had lost too much blood. And he had also strained himself all too much.

Prometheus healed the man's wounds. Then scrapped off the armour on him.

"Take him to the physician's quarters. Have him healed and rested. There is a lot more the Lieutenant can tell us." Prometheus ordered the guard that helped the Lieutenant in.

The guard helped the man out.

Then Prometheus spread the scroll, sitting on his throne. What he saw, ceased all movement around him.

Not literally. But a feeling of dread caused this.

"Oh no..." these were the first two words that escaped Prometheus' lips.

Disbelief.

A sense of impending danger.

Flamma turned to Prometheus with an alert gaze. Prometheus wasn't the kind of man who would curse or react with an alarmed behaviour. Calling upon the Gods wasn't the kind of thing he'd do either.

"Is everything okay Sire?" Flamma asked blankly.

The doors creaked open and in walked the King's brother, Prince Epimetheus.

"Oh? Is that surprise I see and hear from my own brother? That's peculiar, even with my knowledge." Epimetheus spoke with a carefree expression while patting the cat that slept in his arms.

"We need to get going somewhere right now. HE has begun again. And this time... he's coming in more dangerous." Prometheus said as he folded the scroll.

"I wonder what this brother of mine is talking about? Do you mind---"

"The King in yellow." Prometheus cut of his brother with that tittle alone.

Deafening silence instantly came over the room. The two brothers along with Flamma all lacked eyes and b3came serious.

Without saying a word, they all headed for the exit and left the room.

They changed into decent and comfortable clothing and and each took a sword on their waist.

The three left the castle grounds.

Clymene, the mother to two brothers was left in charge.
