The sword plunged in his heart, and shocked expressions filled eyes. This was a betrayal he never saw coming from the people once he alongside.
He had risked his life for them. He Sacrificed so much for the life he wished for but in return, he was met with betrayal and death.
Silva's gaze landed on Temple Master, a man who had been like a father to an orphan like him.
He was raised here, dedicating all of his youth to repay that debt and when he thought he could finally spend his life with the woman he loved, he was abandoned and betrayed.
The Temple Master's eyes pitied him but held no remorse; to him the words of Gods were absolute. As he met Silva's dying gaze, looking for the answers, the Temple Master spoke.
"You have sinned. It was the Gods' decision. "
"During the extermination mission, you deliberately spared people you deemed innocent. However, In the eyes of the Gods, that was a sin. Luckily, we had devotees like Fiona and others who completed your unfinished work."
Silva on his knees, somehow manage to raise his eyes to look at Fiona, the woman he loved, and the other squad members who either avoided his gaze or just had a poker face.
He remembered the extermination missions. He indeed left many of the people alive who were connected to the demons but those were the innocent ones, some are either used by demons or influenced by them but after killing the demons, he left those alive who were actually innocent.
That spared them because, to him, the demons were the problem, not the humans.
However, to his surprise, he now realized that behind his back, his own squad members had systematically murdered everyone he had saved. This was more than just betrayal; this was distrust, but still was this the only reason to kill him?

Suddenly, the young boy with delicate white skin and brown hairs woke up with an expression of anger in his face, as if it was just yesterday when he died but in real, it happened, 14 years ago, well that's what he believed.
He was Raynn, the prince of Blood Kingdom. A Tier 2 demon kingdom and a family of vampires. Raynn was the third son of the Bloodmare family, including his other seven siblings.
He had his memories of previous life intact from his birth, which always hunts him to even this day but this wasn't his only concern.
He now lived among the demons, whom he used to despise and over that, he is himself is a demon, a Half vampire, which he inherited from his father, the elder vampire and a Half demon ghoul, which he got from his mother, the ghoul queen.
However, he lost her after giving him birth and soon after he was seven, Raynn was outcast by the family because he inherited more of his mother's side of power, than his fathers'.
'I used to thought that Demons are just cruel creatures who didn't know about love, life and family. I thought they were just beings who only knows killing but here I found that they have their own world, their own kingdom and their own family, then why they attacked humans?'
His thoughts aren't wrong. From the time he reincarnated here, he found out about the demon world that he never knew existed.
In the Temple of Gods, they were taught that, Demons are emotionless creatures who only knows manipulation, corruption and killing the innocents but here he found out that, they aren't much different from humans.
'Well, the only difference, is their crude nature' He thought, just then the door of his room was opened without a knock.
Raynn knew who it could be and he sighed, looking at the little girl with twin braids.
"Big brother!" she screamed and jumped on his bed.
"Rosie! What are you doing here?" Raynn asked, though he knows her reason, he still asked to tease her.
"Hmpf… You know why? Aren't you? I don't like living in that place, instead I love your place. No guards, No servants and no nagging of mother." She chuckled and hugged him.
She was Rose Bloodmare, his little sibling and one the closest members of his family. She was the child, of his father's 4th wife. After the death of his mother, his father married to another woman and years later they had her.
"Brother, is it true that, they are sending you to the Demonic Academy? Please don't leave me here, take me with you, please brother." As she hugs him tightly, she whispered with low voice.
"Huh! Where did you heard that? Who said I'm leaving for the Demonic academy?" but this made Raynn shocked, he didn't even heard about this, 'I'm leaving for Demonic Academy, when did this happen?'
"You aren't going?" a sparkle of hope emitted in Rose's eyes but then another voice ended her all hope.
"He is indeed going to the Demonic academy and you are coming back with me." The woman with crimson red hair and black gown, entered the room.
"Mother!" upon seeing her mother, Rose snuck close to Raynn who brushed his head, then slightly pulled her, "This isn't going to save you."
"No brother, if you are going then, take me with you, or she will force me to learn magic, please brother." But before she could again snuck close to him, Vaelen, Rose's mother uses her psychic magic and pulled her in the air.
"Aah mother let me go. You can't force me or I'll complain it to the father." But Vaelen ignored her cries and looked at Raynn.
"Raynn, the family have decided to let you join the Demonic academy. It was first sister's suggestion and everyone agreed to it." Vaelen then spoke in an apologetic tone, "They seems didn't even thought about informing you, but I came in pretext of taking back this little demon."
Then she pulled back Rose to her arms, "Raynn, they are even against her coming here, so I'm taking her with me. I'll inform them that I'll told you about the news."
"mother! Why all of you so harsh to big brother? You don't treat brother Samuel or brother Asher like this." Rose complained after hearing her mother but Vaelen sealed her mouth with magic, "Raynn, you have three months, so prepare well, this isn't going to be easy." Her tone concealed a hint of warning.
Vaelen then left with wiggling rose in her arms, crying to be freed. Raynn saw this and loudly called her, "Rosie, behave well, I'll meet you before departing, okay."
Rose nodded with teary, innocent eyes, who didn't knew why the family was so indifferent against Raynn.
'Prepare well huh! I was feeling itching in my ears and knew something is about to happen, but she suddenly proposes the idea, and Rosie's mother's hint of warning in her words, I believe they are cooking something against me.'
Raynn could make the guess, as why he was sending to the academy but he wasn't sad, instead he felt a ting of happiness, now he can finally leave these confines.
The woman Raynn was thinking about was the first wife of his father. She was the one who has real authority in the house and she was the reason, he was outcasted from the family, in a first place.
'They think I'm a lower blood, someone who isn't worthy of their status. Well not that I wished to stay here in this world all my life, when I knew that those bastards are still alive and living their life while I was confined here.'
His anger rose, at the thought of the other eight Demon slayers, the Temple Master and the Gods behind them.
'Once I hunted for them but now, I'll hunt them.' As he spoke, the aura around him began to swirl, his eyes glowed and his face turned into a monster, 'Wait for me! The day I'll return, I'll start hunting each one of you, until there will be no traces left.'
Suddenly, the loving and caring boy turned into a blood thirsty beast. His blood began to boil but soon everything began to calm down, as if nothing happened.
Others believed that he was a low blood but within him hidden something which will soon make them kneel, demons will shiver in his presence and Gods? They will beg for mercy and cry for their life for awakening something which couldn't be exist in mortal world.
