Synopsis
Surya is just a regular middle-class guy with small dreams and a soft heart. In school, he falls for Chandu a rowdy, bold girl who saves him once and steals his heart forever. But just when he gathers the courage to confess, she disappears. Later, he learns she died. His world falls apart. Years pass. In college, just when he begins to heal, he meets a girl who reminds him exactly of Chandu the way she walks, talks, even the attitude. For a moment, he thinks fate has given him a second chance. He falls again. But things don’t go as planned. That girl isn’t Chandu. And she’s hiding fears of her own. Caught between the memories of his past and the mess of his present, Surya decides to stop chasing love — and chase meaning instead. He takes the pain, the people, and the pieces of his life… and turns them into stories. Stories that one day make him the director he always dreamed of becoming. This is a journey of first love, loss, and rediscovery — where not every goodbye is final, and not every love ends in heartbreak.

Chapter 1 - The Day I Forgot to Breathe

I still remember that day like it just happened.Last exam of 10th class. Freedom. Joy. No more books—at least for a while. Me and my best friend Vinay were almost running out of the school gate, shouting like idiots.

"Let's go eat something!" he said.

I didn't even notice the road. I was just looking ahead, not a single care in the world. And just like that, out of nowhere a speeding car, I didn't see it. But someone pulled me aside, hard. I almost fell.

"Hey! You want to die or what?"

That's the first time I heard her voice. I turned around.

Red dress. Wooden plank in one hand, Hair messy, falling over her face. Light pink lipstick. She looked absolutely stunning strong. Beautiful. Real.Like someone from a movie, but way more mass.

"You're old enough to grow a moustache but don't know how to cross a road?" she fired.

I was blank. Her words hit harder than the car would have.

Still, I liked it.

She didn't wait for a reply. Just dropped her hand right onto the road and said:

"Go home."

I stood there, frozen.

Vinay looked at me and said, "Bro, what are you doing?"

I said, "She just saved my life."

"Yeah, and then insulted you!"

"Still… kind of savior, right?" Vinay said.

We started walking behind her. She was with her friends, laughing, talking loudly. Confident.

Vinay whispered, "This girl is dangerous."

I'm focusing on her like I didn't heard Vinay.

After some distance, her friends went ahead and she was walking alone.

Just then, a guy stopped her. Rose in hand.

"I love you, Chandu," he said.

"Chandu." Even her name had some power to it.

I thought she'd ignore him.

Nope.

She grabbed her wooden plank, held him by the collar, lifted him slightly and threw him down.

Then came the kick. Direct hit. Not even slow motion.

Vinay and I stood like statues.

She yelled:

"I'm a black belt in karate! You say 'I love you' again, you'll forget your own name."

The guy ran for his life. So did Vinay.

I didn't.I just stood there thinking

"What kind of girl is this?"

And somehow… that made me want to know her more.

So I followed her.

I followed her till I found out where she lived.

I was about to leave then suddenly she sawed me.
