"Cab," I called out, gesturing for a taxi to stop.
I was farther away from the Smith Company and was trying to get a cab to take me back home. I was able to divert the Press and Media away from me.
It had been thirty minutes since I tried stopping a cab, yet no cab stopped. I sighted a shopping mall and began walking towards it. I needed a place to stay and clear my mind of what happened earlier in the Smith Company.
It was never my intention to take back Lorenzo. Victoria was about to have his child. She needed him by her side.
"Hello, ma'am," a gentleman said, pushing the glass door open for me.
"Hello," I said, blinking out of my thoughts. I returned his smile and walked in.
I grabbed a cart and started placing items into it. I decided to get my kids some new toys. I pushed my cart to the kids' section.
I saw a little cute girl who was probably the same age as my daughter there. She turned to look at me. "Hello," she said, with a smile.
