Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Almighty has Descended. A Phantom Who Will Take The World By Storm

It was daytime, the sun was shining, and people were busy walking to work. In a mansion, Olivia, with brown hair and blue eyes, would be in her room, on her phone.

Sign

Finally, it's Friday. She got up and went to the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror, remembering what happened yesterday. She was starting to hyperventilate, but calmed herself after a short while by splashing cold water on her face.

She flashed back to the day before, which should have been like any other day at school.

"Olivia, have you heard of the possibility of World War 3?" A tanned-skinned girl asked.

"World War 3? Sorry, I don't really pay attention to the news as often."

"Well, apparently, there's some conspiracy about World War 3 happening." The girl said.

"Yeah, sure," Olivia responded, putting her things in her bag. She looked towards the window and saw a boy who was one year younger than her. A very generic-looking boy.

With a shirt, dark brown hair, soulless black eyes with white pupils, and natural pale skin. His face was also a little cutesy, but overall, he was not someone who had anything special going for him, unlike everyone else in the class.

He looked outside the window while he held a book about atomic and nuclear bombs.

Class was over, and everyone was heading out of the class, lining up for the elevators. Chatter filled the halls as students waited to enter the elevator. Olivia was on her phone, waiting for her turn. She was scrolling through social media, seeing the conspiracies, which did scare her a little. The possibility of war was something she could never imagine

She entered the elevator and reached the bottom floor. She waved to the security guards and exited the tall building that was the school. She looked around and walked to the train station that was nearby.

Walking down, she passed multiple people, but two women she accidentally bumped into.

"Yo!"

"Sorry, my bad." She kept walking away, which made the two women look at her. Olivia reached the train station and waited for her train. She took a seat and looked at the board for her train, when she saw it was delayed.

Delayed!? Come on, today? She was annoyed, especially after learning about the kidnappings. She waited a very long time, about 4 hours, until her train arrived.

Finally. She got up and entered her train. It was empty, like it had been since it was so late. At least that's what she thought, until she saw the same 2 women she bumped into inside the train. She took a seat far away from the women who were talking, when one of them noticed her.

"Hold on, that girl." The skinny woman said. Pointing in Oliva's direction.

"Holy shit, it is." The muscular woman said, wanting her petty revenge for getting bumped into.

"Hey, what do you know?" Olvia jolted at their voices being closer and looked at her.

"-Hi."

...

"Hi? That's all you have to say? Hi? Bitch, get up!" The muscular woman grabbed her and picked her up, retraining her.

"HEY STOP! SOMEONE HELP ME!"

"SHUT!" The woman grabbed her, covering her mouth, and the skinny one grabbed her by her legs.

"Look, girl, we just need some compensation for assault, alright?"

She tried reaching for her bag, but the skinny one saw that and moved her bag away. She lifted her legs, looking at her like a pervert.

Olivia struggled, trying to break free, but couldn't. These women were too powerful.

Clang!

A sound could be heard from behind. Both women turned around to see a black helmet-wearing boy, with a white sweater, wearing clad gloves, baggy brown pants, and black boots.

In his hands, he had a machete and a crowbar. His presence was ominous yet mysterious. He slowly walked forward with his weapons in hand, sending a wave of intimidation. The muscular woman took out a knife and ran to the boy.

"You should have just walked away!" He lunged her knife forward, but the boy dodged and, without effort, stabbed the machete into the woman's head without restraint.

Both Oliva and the skinny woman were shocked, watching as the muscle woman dropped down, the machete still in her head.

"What the hell!?" The boy ran towards the skinny woman, who tried to take out her knife, but she was unable to as the boy hit her across the jaw, breaking it. Knocked out, the boy stepped on her neck, breaking it, leaving Olivia traumatized.

This is Stelp Street.

The boy left the train, leaving Olivia alone. She didn't know what to think or say. Seeing both of them made her vomit; she was disgusted.

Flashing back to the present. She composed herself and took a deep breath.

It's okay. You're okay. She went down the same route she had always gone and entered the train, where many people were. Being on the train, the sound of the train moving made her remember that event. Almost being raped and then seeing corpses. Her gag reflex was acting up again, but she calmed herself.

After entering class, she passed by the same uninteresting boy she saw in class, who was leaving the school, which sent a chill down her spine.

The boy walked down the street, passing by people who looked like nothing more than blank slates of silhouettes. Who continued to walk in silence until he entered a park and looked up

I am a nameless. I am an NPC in this world. All my life, I had one desire: power. I remember it clearly. Reading light novels and reading about how these losers grew, undeserving of their power. Blank slates that did nothing to earn what they had. It made me want a power fantasy of my own, one where I grew strong on my own, learning martial arts, training in weapon mastery in all forms, and even taking up acting in order to differentiate myself between identities. But even with all that, I had limitations, the limitations of being human.

But one day, a man approached me when I was 12 and showed me real magic.

When I was 13, I went into the woods by myself, meditating, hoping to attain magic, but I didn't, so I tried connecting with nature forcefully. I smashed my head against a rock over and over and over, screaming power, over and over and over again.

Just then, I thought I had magic, so I ran to it, but it was a lie. Instead, it was a truck, but I was saved by that same man.

He warned me to not be hasty and that my time would come.

He showed me what was to come and what I could achieve. All I could do was smile, knowing that today was the day that I could attain magic. My dream was finally here, a power fantasy.

In the sky, something began to fall, something large.

An Atomic Bomb.

In an instant, it would explode, enveloping everything in the light of destruction. The world was changed into something new. The boy would be consumed by the light, and at that moment, his entire reality was shattered; he felt two contradicting feelings at once. Hatred and Glee.

It was at that moment that a new soul would drift into a new one.

Now there was darkness for the boy. He could see only the endless void in front of him, but then light could be seen, touch could be felt, air could be smelled, and he awoke as a baby in a new world.

He awoke to the sight of a beautiful, long-haired, nice-breasted woman in front of him.

I have reincarnated. The baby looked around, seeing that he was in a rather fancy room, with multiple maids surrounding him, his mother holding him, and his father looking over him.

He had dark brown hair just like his mother, and his eyes were just like before. Black and soulless with white pupils. His skin was also naturally pale, just like his mother's.

"Hmm? Don't babies cry?" His mother asked, confused by the current predicament. She tapped him, hoping he was alright.

Right. I need to act. I can't let them suspect anything.

The baby focused on himself, forcing tears to come out by fooling his mind, and he cried.

"Oh, there he goes." She smiled, rubbing her hand on his face.

"What should we name him?" The father asked with an excited tone.

"I already thought of a name. Haru Maharshi. What do you think?"

"That sounds unique. I love it." The father said.

"Let me through!" A little girl spoke. She ran through her maids until she reached the bed. Her hair was black like her father's, her eyes golden like her father's, and she was wearing a yellow headband.

She slowly approached the bed, looking at the baby in front of her. She was mesmerized by the baby in front of her and wanted to hold him.

"Marielis, this is your baby brother, Haru."

"C-Can I hold him?" She asked, wanting to grab Haru.

"Sorry, but you can't. He is still very delicate, and he will cry again."

"...Oh. Then when can I hold him?" She asked, desperate to hold her brother.

"When he's ready to separate from mommy, of course."
