Returning to the company after two years, I saw many new faces, but there were still some old employees.
Cherry has always been here, and now she's Grace Chandler's assistant and the head of the secretarial department.
When she saw me, she was first surprised and then overjoyed.
"Ms. Lily, you're back!" She excitedly ran over, grabbing my arm, "It's really you, you still remembered to come back and see us, gone for two years with no word!"
Grace Chandler met me at the company entrance, and now she stood beside me smiling, "See, your old subordinates are blaming you, the heartless and unfeeling ex-boss."
I nodded repeatedly, "Yes, yes, it's my fault, so how about lunch on me today? Cherry, see which of the old employees are free to come along."
"Okay, I'll arrange it right away!"
I entered what was formerly my office, now Grace Chandler's office, and I could see a lot had changed.
