It was midnight. Ayush entered the house with a heavy step. There was a shadow of sadness on his face, as if every color of every aspect of life had turned away from him. He felt as if life had gone far ahead of him. He closed the door, took a deep breath, took off his shoes and headed straight towards one of his rooms.
There was a slight sadness in the room, as if every corner was a mirror of his state of mind. Ayush fell on the sofa, picked up the remote and turned on the TV. While changing channels, the buzzer stopped at an advertisement of a cartoon movie. On the screen, a small cartoon character was wandering in search of happiness among the forests and mountains.
Ayush turned to the screen. Seeing advertisement name "Childhood Stories" but unknowingly he started watching the advertisement. There was a strange glow in the eyes of the character - one that was probably in deep sleep somewhere inside his life.
In a short while, his automatic started getting heavy. He fell asleep amidst the soft noises, but even before sleeping, a question remained in his mind- is happiness really somewhere far away, or will he have to find it within himself?
"Ayush Dream"
Ayush finds himself in his childhood in a dream. It is night time. It is raining outside, the sound of the drops falling on the roof is like a sweet music. Ayush is sitting on the floor watching TV. He sits cross-legged as his legs start to hurt. His favourite Cartoon is playing on the TV. His Innocent eyes is flashing on the TV screen, and he is clapping and laughing.
