Kyra's POV
Nathan's pack members were heading to my mother's company to evacuate all the employees. I had also contacted the elders from Raven Shadow Pack to help rescue the workers at Monroe Company.
Even though I had married Nathan and become Luna of Nightfall Pack again, I was still responsible for my own company and my father's pack members. That's why Nathan and I needed to go to the scene ourselves.
We had just driven out of Nightfall Pack territory when the car leading us suddenly hit the brakes. Nathan almost crashed into the vehicle in front of us.
Nathan turned his head to mind-link the pack member driving ahead, but got no response. "Stay in the car and be careful," he told me as he got out to check what was wrong.
