Kieran was silent the whole time we’re in the car. He was just sitting beside,his cedar and musk scent filling the space between us, his jaw clenched tight enough to crack stone. My wolf, Sylvia, paced restlessly in my mind. However, I’m worried about what’s going on in his mind.
I bit my bottom lip as I remembered what happened between me and Nathan.
Even now, the memory of Nathan's minty breath against my skin made my pulse stutter.He kissed me and my heart instantly beat for him again. This is insanely absurd but I know I couldn’t lie to myself anymore. I’m still in love with him. Even after everything that he’s done and he didn’t do.
“What do you want for dinner?” Kieran asked as soon as we entered the huge family house.
Right! I haven’t eaten anything. Aside from the fact that Sophia ruined my mood, I don’t wanna eat the food in their ‘grand’ engagement party.
