"Carrying what?" Zixuan felt like bursting into tears. He couldn't accept that he was slowly losing his packs, and his stomach was forming a small bulge.
But that wasn't the worst of it. Now he was being mistaken for a pregnant person.
"A child," Gu Qian repeated, looking serious.
"I think you're confused. This," he pointed to his belly, "is just a little bit of fat. No child is in there."
"Don't do that." Gu Qian gasped, slapping his hand away. "You might hurt the baby."
"There's no baby in there," Zixuan snapped, clearly annoyed.
"There is," she insisted. "How come you don't know you're pregnant? Eight weeks to be exact."
"Yes, how come?" he asked sarcastically. This lady was starting to get on his nerves. If she hadn't been the one who helped him earlier, he might have strangled her by now.
"I don't know either," she replied, speechless, not getting that Zixuan was being sarcastic.
Zixuan sighed deeply.
