"Can we leave?" Haoran was on his feet, looking irritated at Ruolan, who was trying to stall for time by eating slowly.
"I'm not done," Ruolan said, eating one bite at a time.
Haoran nodded. "Ok," he muttered and walked away without turning back.
"A-Ran," Ruolan called out desperately. Seeing his back view and his legs, which made no sign of stopping, she left her plate and ran after him.
"A-Ran," she called again. But there was still no response as Haoran walked out of the cafe without a care.
She fastened her steps to reach him.
"Ahhh…" She tried to catch her losing breath. She was one of those calm and rich girls; this was kind of her first time running.
"I was calling your name," she said with difficulty, still trying to settle her breathing.
"I know," Haoran replied, not bothered by her difficulty. "I left my partner at home."
Ruolan rolled her eyes. "It's just a few hours."
