Chapter 2 - Until He Found the Reason

In the city of snow, between frozen alleys,Diana walked alone —as if she didn't belong to this world…yet finally, she was no longer hunted.

She lived in a distant cabin, and every morning, she fought the wind, the silence, and herself.

Every morning, she went out with her sword.

She fought the air.

Screamed in silence.

Every strike carried her memories, her rage, her hate.

As days passed, they began to notice her.

Men were stunned by her courage.

Women feared her gaze.

But the prince...was not like the rest.

He watched her from afar.

And with each passing day,his desire to understand her… grew stronger.

One evening, as she trained atop an icy mountain,he stood behind her and said:

— "No one swings a sword like that… unless they carry fire inside."

She didn't turn.

She simply said:— "I don't fight to win.I fight so I don't wither."

Then Diana turned slowly toward the voice—

and found a man standing there, sword in hand, eyes that did not smile.

He said calmly:— "I've heard of you.I want to see if you're just a story… or a legend."

She raised an eyebrow—then raised her sword.

The duel began.

Two strikes. A spin. A sudden step.

His sword slipped.

He stepped back.

Then said, catching his breath:

— "I lost… but I gained something."

She looked at him silently, then turned away—but she never forgot his voice.

In the days that followed,he came every morning—not to fight, but to sit near her.

He stayed silent when she was silent, and asked questions only when she spoke.

She told him small pieces of her past,as if offering him wilted petals—one by one.

She never asked who he was.

But he knew exactly who she was.

One day, he asked:— "Do you miss anyone?"

She answered without hesitation:— "There was never anyone… to miss."

And then… she fell silent.

On the other side of the world…in the Kingdom of Flowers—the withering worsened.

The cold crept in.

The people said: "A curse."Others said: "Just a change of seasons."

But the king…

He did not believe it.

He stayed up at night, reading old books, staring at ancestor portraits, and searching...

Until he found the reason...
