Eva didn't acknowledge his words and resumed walking towards the hospital.
Unbeknownst to the newly divorced couple, a woman had watched them for a long time.
"Are you satisfied now? Can we leave?" Marcus questioned Katherine who was glaring into Eva's back so hard that if she had enough free will, she would gladly grab a knife and stab it into her without thinking twice about it.
"Hold on," Katherine said, her gaze shifting to Dante, who was absentmindedly standing near his car. "If my hunch is right, those were divorce papers he just signed, which means that those two are divorced."
"So what?" Marcus questioned her suspiciously. "What are you planning on doing about that?"
"Will you relax? You're acting all tense. If your voice gets any louder, Dante might hear us," she said, silently gritting her teeth.
"Well, I didn't bring us all the way here just so you could spy on Eva. We have a family to build, Kath."
