The Bennet family home was packed with countless vehicles making their way into the driveway. Butler Jen, who had already retired but was still living in the mansion, wore his usual butler attire and stood in front of the house to welcome the guests.
How could he miss this?
"Butler Jen?" Slater gasped as he stopped in his tracks, a hand clasped dramatically across his chest.
It was as though seeing the old man, whose hair had now blanched but who still maintained an upright posture, brought back countless memories.
"Did you come back because you knew I'd come today?" Slater asked in shock.
James, Slater's manager, turned to him with a plain expression.
"Slater, tonight's barbecue party is about your first sister's gender reveal," said James. "Give Butler Jen a break."
But Butler Jen kept his smile and nodded. "Yes, Third Young Master. Have you eaten?"
"Butler Jen~!" Slater wept as he jumped forward, hugging the old man while James shook his head.
