The next day came, and as expected, the news of Lola joining the mission shook the entire Order. Whispers and gasps echoed through thick walls, and along with the surprise came judgment.
To them, this was nothing more than a way to establish Lola's position in the Order.
After all, it was an open secret that many were not confident in her. In their eyes, she was just a pretty woman who had a one-night stand with Atlas and happened to bear his heirs. Coincidentally, they reunited and continued their love story that barely even started years ago.
In other words, she was nothing but a heroine in a romance novel — a princess saved by her prince, or a woman who used her beauty to enchant Atlas.

"Just what are they thinking?" One of the guards stationed in the South Wing snorted. "Taking her on the mission? Are they insane?"
"You actually believe she's going?" his comrade laughed. "I'm sure they're only saying that. She'll probably back out."
