"Where's Izu?"
Haji's brows twitched as he glanced at Lola. Both of them were headed back to her study to finalize the strategy. Atlas and Allen would join later, so they were going ahead for now.
"Now that you mention it…" He scratched his temple, confusion twisting his features. "I haven't seen him even earlier."
Lola shot him a sidelong glance. "How could he miss the meeting when my husband told him to help out Allen yesterday?"
"No idea," Haji shrugged. "He just left yesterday. I think that guy's sulking."
"Sulking, huh?"
"I'm not one to console anyone, but I think it's more because of this place's overall structure." Haji casually shoved his hands in his pockets. "It's interesting how the management and the soldiers have completely different perspectives about the mission — like two sides of a coin."
