The compensation will now be distributed! May you all thrive and enjoy the new world you have been given!

"Sergeant! We have a problem!" An officer yells out as he rushes into the Sergeant's office. The Sergeant looked up from his paperwork as he raised a brow at the officer's urgency, putting his pen down as he motioned him to talk.

"A statue of some sort of demonic creature appeared in the plaza! Then out of nowhere, it suddenly spoke!" He said as the Sergeant narrowed his eyes and stood up from his seat, walking around the table as he strode out of the office.

The duo arrived at the plaza where John saw the statue; its eyes were glowing as its words echoed inside everyone's head like a parasitic reverberation, relaying a message with minimal movement in its stone figure.

[ Welcome, aspiring adventurers. I am Malakor, and I will be the one guiding everyone to their peak. May you all ascend beyond the peak of mortals. I am the unseen hand guiding every lost mortal who dares to seek power beyond their delicate limits. I am here to offer and guide you in achieving strength unimaginable for your comprehension, the kind of power that shatters chains and mocks the fragility of mortality itself. If you walk this path with me, you will rise—yet heed this warning of mine: the power I promise demands a price equal or far beyond your reckoning. ]

The stone statue, Malakor, spoke inside everyone's head. The Sergeant stared blankly at the imposing figure with underlying uneasiness as he walked in front of the fascinated crowd, ushering them to take a few steps back and look at the towering statue.

"Greetings, Malakor. I am John Marcus Dela Cruz, a Police Master Sergeant in the Police Department of this city. You called the citizens—no, you called us Aspiring Adventurers, what did you mean by that? I hope you didn't expect to be accepted by humans after whatever stunt that was pulled on us. My job is to ensure that the city and its people are safe. I will not let anyone be played in your palm unless I make sure they're not gonna be dancing to the death's door." The Sergeant said as he stood his ground, his tone was calm and firm. He held his gaze on the stone statue with a scrutinizing look, unwilling to let them play their games with him present in the face of the mortal realm.

The statue's face went from a serene prayer to a wild grin for a quick second before it returned to its original expression, making the Sergeant raise a brow, blinking in confusion with dread and disturbance, the alarms in his head going off as he cleared his throat, choking it up to seeing things incorrectly as he shook his head.

[ A noble figure, you are. Very well, as you've been told prior 72 hours ago, your beloved world, the Earth, had been merged with another called Okkaryuon, in which you can say is a fantasy world where magic and mana exist. Of course, along with that comes an additional system for you, lots of fragile mortals to adapt to the environment. ]

The statue's voice was imposed on the plaza, its voice was echoing out and into their minds. The Sergeant recalled the day when it all began, nodding in understanding and acknowledgement as he crossed his arms over his chest, urging the stone sculpture to continue.

[ That system is called Pathweaver's Ascendance or The Calling of the Paths. You may call it whatever you like, every inhabitant of this new realm had this system implemented as an additional feature for their governing laws. The residents of Okkaryuon had already adapted and begun their adventures using the new System. It won't be long before they reach here, who knows what they would do? ]

The Sergeant gritted his teeth at the silent implication of the stone figure's words; the undeniable threat of other factors, such as the adventurers from Okkaryuon, made him swallow his pride and protests against the guiding statue.

"Tsk. Fine." The Sergeant said as he opened his mouth to agree and cooperate, to ask for the guiding statue's aid and offer to adapt to the new world.

From the side of the new realm, many residents of the Okkaryuon planet, varying in species, accepted the new system and embraced it. Some even formed new organizations and alliances when they adapted.

"WE ARE THE ORDER OF THE LIGHTWARDENS! WE ARE LOYAL ZEALOTS OF OUR GUIDING DEITY!" A heretic Storm Paladin exclaimed as the members of the said Order of Silver Veils agreed with him and cheered.

"Repeat after me, The Conflux Circle shall not side with anyone and will remain neutral. We are the embodiment of impartiality and the grey line." The Master of The Conflux Circle dropped her staff to the ground; her spellbook floated in the air as she watched her apprentices stand up straight as a response, repeating after her with a monotonous and flat tone.

"You are all members of The Eclipse Syndicate. You carry out the tasks given to you. You work in the shadow; you are the shadow." The highest authority within The Eclipse Syndicate said as he pointed at the gathered disciples of the organization, his eyes flashed with a crimson hue as he gave them a cold look.

"My children, we, members of The Cogwright Assembly, shall use every literature and knowledge of our world to bring forth strength to the surface. We are the proud Scholars who will record every event that will happen in this brand-new world. The next generation depends on us to tell the tales of their ancestors; we mustn't disappoint them. Travel the mortal realm, and archive everything around the world!" The head professor of the Assembly said as she encouraged her scholars, giving them the mission to document the history of their lives.
