Chapter 19 – Ryomen Sukuna Appears!
December 31st, 2017.
That was the day Zenin Kyūjō made his mark.
During the infamous Night Parade of a Hundred Demons—orchestrated by none other than Suguru Geto—he displayed power beyond the norm. By singlehandedly defeating and killing Geto, Kyūjō not only secured peace in the chaos but was also formally recognized by the higher-ups of the Jujutsu world as the fourth active Special Grade Jujutsu Sorcerer.
And with that, the current lineup of living Special Grade Sorcerers became:
Satoru Gojo
Yuki Tsukumo
Yuta Okkotsu
Zenin Kyūjō
Out of the four... three were from Tokyo Jujutsu High.
It was almost absurd. One school holding that much firepower?
The only one who operated independently was Yuki Tsukumo—a mysterious woman with no ties to any faction. Her aloofness was one thing, but the fact that she was the only one outside their campus only added pressure to the aging Jujutsu elders.
Some of those ancient geezers even entertained delusions of using the Zenin Clan's influence to pressure Kyūjō into submission.
But when that happened... Kyūjō handled it the same way his teacher, Satoru Gojo, would've.
"If you try messing with me again... I'll wipe all of you out. Now get lost."
Those cold words—spoken to the elders of his own clan—left the room in dead silence.

Time passed quickly.
Before long, it was already June 2018—and with it, the beginning of a new chapter in the original timeline.
This was the year that the true protagonist of the story, Itadori Yuji, finally appeared.
And with him... came the reawakening of the most feared curse from a thousand years ago—Ryomen Sukuna.
That year, Tokyo Jujutsu High admitted only three first-year students:
1. Itadori Yuji — the vessel of Ryomen Sukuna
2. Fushiguro Megumi — heir to the Ten Shadows Technique
3. Kugisaki Nobara — seemingly ordinary... though definitely more than she appeared
Zenin Kyūjō met Itadori for the first time on the opening day of the school year—when Gojo personally introduced the trio.
That moment marked the beginning of yet another headache for Kyūjō.
Not only was he already in charge of training all the second-years physically... now Gojo had completely handed over the first-years to him as well.

On the dojo grounds of Tokyo Jujutsu High, Gojo clapped his hands and gestured toward the towering white-haired young man standing beside him.
"This here is your senpai—Zenin Kyūjō, a second-year student. He's insanely strong. Like, Special Grade strong. When it comes to raw hand-to-hand combat... even I might lose to him."
"You'll all be training directly under him from now on. Good luck!"
Hearing that, Itadori Yuji couldn't help but stare curiously at the guy.
The tall figure with striking white hair looked to be around his age, maybe just a year older.
After a short pause, Itadori leaned over and asked Gojo innocently,
"Sensei… who's stronger? You or Zenin Kyūjō-senpai?"
The question made the air freeze.
Everyone's gaze locked onto Gojo, waiting for his reply.
Gojo scratched the back of his head, then muttered softly after a few seconds of thinking,
"Hm… probably me... maybe…"
Itadori froze.
Because a few days ago, he had asked Gojo a similar question.
Back then, he was comparing Gojo to Ryomen Sukuna, the terrifying curse sealed within him.
And Gojo had answered without hesitation—"I'd win."
But now… he hesitated?
Does that mean... Kyūjō-senpai might be stronger than Sukuna?!
As that thought sank in, a sinister grin suddenly spread across Itadori's cheek—literally.
A second mouth opened up, its voice filled with arrogance and mockery.
It was the manifestation of Sukuna.
"Oi, you white-haired brat. Don't get cocky."
"You really think you can compare to me?! I don't care what color your hair is—none of you can match my power."
"This brat barely has any cursed energy... and you want me to believe he's a threat? Please. Even with just a single finger's worth of my power, he's nothing more than an insect."

Everyone went silent again.
Zenin Kyūjō casually raised a finger and pointed at Itadori's face. Then he turned to Gojo and asked flatly,
"Who's the loudmouth in his cheek? Keeps going on about insects and ants like he's hot shit."
Gojo chuckled, stroking his chin.
"Oh right, I forgot to explain. Meet Ryomen Sukuna—the King of Curses, from a thousand years ago. Yuji swallowed one of his cursed fingers and, for some reason, managed to resist Sukuna's influence."
"So, the higher-ups and I decided to make Yuji the vessel to collect all twenty fingers. When he's got them all… we'll exorcise him and erase Sukuna for good."
"Huh. So that mouthy thing is Ryomen Sukuna?" Kyūjō muttered, still pointing at Itadori's cheek. "The King of Curses from a thousand years ago?"
Gojo nodded.
Kyūjō casually rolled his neck, stretched his arms, and spoke with a calm, lazy tone.
"Yuji. You mind letting that arrogant bastard out for a bit? I'd like to meet him face to face."
Itadori blinked, scratching his head. "Uh... sure?"
After all, Gojo-sensei just said Kyūjō-senpai was really strong... and Gojo himself was right here. What could go wrong?
With that, Itadori relinquished control—and let Sukuna take over.

In an instant, two symmetrical black lines carved down both sides of his face. A second pair of eyes snapped open beneath the first.
Ryomen Sukuna emerged, grinning with feral delight.
"You white-haired brat... Allow me to show you the power of a true king."
And with a roar, he dashed straight toward Kyūjō.
Even while closing the distance, Sukuna lifted his right hand and swung it down sharply—unleashing a barrage of invisible slashes aimed directly at Kyūjō's chest.
But Kyūjō just smirked.
He didn't even reach for his katana.
Instead, he clenched his fist—and answered the attack with a single upward blow.
Black Flash – Uppercut.
His fist connected with the air itself. The invisible slashes shattered like glass—and Sukuna's body was launched into the sky.
He spiraled through the air for hundreds of meters. His consciousness flickered, and control of Itadori's body slipped away once more.
Just like that.
In less than ten seconds since appearing...
The King of Curses had been knocked out with a single punch.
