"Because Deidara, Sasori, and Kisame were already under my Betsutenjin. I had them stay in the Akatsuki to gather intel on you," Kazama explained.

Realizing his Akatsuki members had been Kazama's pawns all along, Hei Zetsu broke out in a cold sweat. He hadn't just underestimated Kazama's strength—he'd been completely outplayed by his cunning.
"But what about Obito? I planted my cells in him long before he ever met you. Why's he following your orders?!"
Hei Zetsu couldn't wrap his head around how even Obito had become Kazama's ally.
