It was already five days ever since the letter arroved, in the Hoshi household, the chaos was brewing as everyone were walking around, Free on the other hand was working in his office, while everyone outside prelared for the trip to the festival, that ws gonna be held after two days.
"They're so loud" Free muttered as he scribbled in the letter requested for a land in the Hayan Town.
Meanwhile in the living room of the Hoshi mansion, Lina was carrying a luggage filled with clothes and jewellery and while Iris walking around with her wooden sword and spell book in hand.
"Lady Iris, mind helping me a bit?" Lina asked politely while holding the bag tigtly to her shoulder, Iris tilt her head and refused.
"No" she replied and exits the room.
"That girl....." she cursed under her breath, and Sylvia unexpectedly enters inside the room.
"Oh, Lina. You need help?" she asked, Lina turn her head and shook.
"No! I can handle it myself" she lied, Sylvia wasn't convinced and Lina gives a forced smile. 'This luggage is too heavy' she thought. "I'm fine, i can carry it by myself! I-i have strength enhancement spells anyway!" she shouted.
"....If you say so?" Sylvia said, still unsure if she should help or do the other errands, but in her prespective Lina was looking like she was carrying the luggage easily. "...well then" she added before exiting the room and going upstairs.
"Finally....But where are all the servants when i need them the most?!" she yelled, Elina walks in with a mop in hand and saw her mother having a hard time with the luggage.
"Mom, do you need help?" she asked,.Lina nodded.
"Help me to carry this bag to the second floor" she said, Elina nodded and hold the luggage with her tiny hands, which were somehow stronge enough to hold if easily.
"Phew...." she muttered, and the two slowly walk out of the living room and head to the second floor to put the bag in Free and Sylvia's room.
Meanwhile, Free in his room, close out the.last document on the table and cracks his knuckles. "Ohh, quite the hard day" he said while stretchong his body.
Standing up from his chair and walking outof the room, he head downstairs and while walking down the stairs, he noticed that the portrait of him and Sylvia together had fallen on the floor."Oh goddess, my dear portrait" he muttered, picking it up and hanging it. back to the wall, but it fell again.
"Damn" he cursed, and then noticed that the nail for in the wall was too deep with almost no space for the portrait to be hanged.
He extended his hand and one of his rings from his arm flew out, shrinks and grab the nail's tip tightly. "Okay" Free whispered and the ring pull out the nail off the wall easily.
After that, he drove the nail inside the wall again but half of it was out, and then hangs the portrait again, this time it didn't fell off amd Free walk down and walk to the garden where Hinata and Iris were sparring.
As the place quieted down. Thud! Phiar!. The portrait fell, again. As if something was forcing it now, Lina walks downstair with Elina at the same time.
"Hmm..." Elina noticed the broken pieced of mirror. "Mom, there's a broken mirror" she muttered, picking u the broken mirror and then saw the portrait mirror cracked.
Lina picked up the portrait, Sylvia's part of face was completely unrecognizable due to the mirror's crack. "We should repair it" Lina said, walking down and going to the kitchen.
Outside, the garden with beautiful flower, green bushes, flames engulf part of the it as two girls were sparring like it was a death battle. Iris slide through the ashes of the grass and struck a strike toward Hinata, but she jumped out of the way and land a clean kick in Iris's face knocking her to the ground and points the sword to her face.
"I won. Again!" Hinata announced, with a smug grin on her face while Iris sulked in the ground.
"You're cheating!!" she accused.
"NO I DIDN'T!!!" Hinata quickly denied, now angry, like always. "You want another round, huh?".
"Okay that's enough...." Free said, walking toward them as his spell re-grows the plant that were turned to ashes by Iris's flame. "Enough sparring for today" he announced.
"But she accused me of cheating! While being a weakling herself!!!" Hinata yelled, Free tilt his head and glance at Iris who was sulking.
"Okay okay, i understan" he added. "Iris, you shouldn't falsely accuse someone of cheating without evidence" he scolded her, a little.
"But she never let's me win!! That isn't fair!!!" Iris cried out, Hinata smirk and pointed her finger at Iris.
"Jealous girl aren't you~!" Hinata teased while Iris pouted in annoyance.
"If you want to win that much, why don't you learn sorcery instead of chanting blind spell" Free adviced, Hinata froze for a split second while Iris was considering it.
"B...brother" Hinata called out, angry.
"Yes..."
"Are you trying to teach her one of those cheap barrier tricks" she asked with a dark deathly tone.
"A-ah n-no" Free replied, slightly scared and he takes a step back, trying to leave when Iris open her mouth at the wrong time.
"Now that you mention? I think i will now start to train in sorcery too!!" she yelled, now her sulking gone and she happily walk back to the mansion while Free was stuck with the devil.
"D-E-A-R B-I-G B-R-O-T-H-E-R" Hinata called out, her physical pressure now turned into a deathly aura.
"Y-yes, m-my dear sister?...." Free turned behind.
"YOU'RE DEAD!!!!!!!" Hinata yelled, Jumping onto him, while Iris inside was already holding a book about sorcery she requested from Lina.
And Free outside, was getting a good beat up by his little sister, who wasn't gonna let it slide this time.
Only two days.....before the festival comes and the start of a new era was about to begin.
