Chapter 5 - Confessing

(TYSM FOR 5.K VIEWS OMG IM GONNA CRY!)

Keifer's POV

Her face turned red instantly, and she quickly looked away. Ci-n, of course, couldn't stay quiet.

"Ooo~ date already!" Ci-n teased.

I bit my lower lip, smirking. Honestly, I want that too — I'm just waiting for her to say yes.

"L-let's go get high heels," she said, walking away.

We followed her to the shoe section. She led the way again and reached for two pairs of black heels.

"Put these on, guys!" she said, handing them to me.

I sat down beside Ci-n. We both took off our shoes and socks, then slipped on the heels.

Jay-Jay's POV

They looked so awkward but… honestly? Gorgeous.

"Soo pretty!!" I said, excited.

The only thing missing was makeup. I told them to wait in the car and went to look for the makeup section. Thankfully, this mall had everything in one place.

I grabbed foundation, blush, lipstick, lip gloss, eyeliner, and mascara — that should do for now. After paying, I rushed back to the parking slot and spotted Keifer's car.

"What took you so long, Jay?" Ci-n asked."Had to buy a lot of things, sorry.""It's okay. Where to next?" Keifer asked.

Hmm… maybe we could just stay here. The mall's open 24/7 anyway. I checked the time — 6:23 PM. It's fine. King Ulupong said he'd talk to them.

"Let's just stay here," I said."Okay! Jay, do mine first!" Ci-n said, beaming."Sure, kid."

I started applying his makeup. He kept giggling and squirming when I drew eyeliner on his eye.

"Just shut up and let me finish."

He finally went still.

"All right, done."

He looked in the mirror and gasped.

"Soo pretty!"

I smiled — he wasn't wrong. Of course, I picked the dress, heels, and makeup. I'm basically an artist.

"My turn," Keifer said.

I turned to him and started on his makeup. He kept sneaking glances at me.

"You're blushing," he said.

"Nope."

"You ar—"

"Shut up. Let me focus."

He clutched his chest dramatically like he was hurt. I ignored him, finishing up his lipstick. He was completely focused on me.

"Done!"

He looked at himself in the mirror.

"Thanks. Now what?"

Before I could answer, Keifer suddenly said, "Hold up, I'll be right back," and left.

A few minutes later, he came walking back—completely back in his casual clothes. The wig, makeup, and dress? Gone. Like a magician wiped them out of existence.

Ci-n gasped dramatically and clutched his heart.

"KEIFER! How could you?! You betrayed the girl squad!!" he shouted.

Keifer just shrugged, smirking.

"Sorry, princess. I prefer being handsome."

I burst out laughing, and Ci-n looked even more offended.

"Unbelievable," he said, crossing his arms. "Jay, you saw that right? He abandoned us!"

Keifer laughed and ruffled Ci-n's hair.

"Relax, crybaby. I'll make it up to you."

Ci-n pouted and turned away like a drama queen.

And that's when—

Before I could say anything, Keifer excused himself to the bathroom.

He'd been gone for almost twenty minutes when he finally came back, holding a bag.

"Jay, what's in that paper bag?" Ci-n asked.

"I don't know. Probably something for his siblings."

"Or maybe something for you," he teased.

I smacked his shoulder.

"Ow!"

Keifer got in the car.

"What happened?"

"Nothing," I said — but I couldn't help glancing at the bag. "What's that?"

"A surprise," he smirked.

A surprise? Food, maybe?

He dropped Ci-n off first, then it was just the two of us. I suddenly remembered — I still hadn't confessed.

He was about to start the car, but I stopped him.

"Kei-Keifer," I said softly.

"Mhm?"

"Le-let's b-be…" I stuttered. "Tog-together."

"W-what?"

"It's okay if you don't want to—"

Before I could finish, he grabbed my hand, pulled me closer…

…and kissed me..

WHAT THE HELL?! I REALLY HOPE KUYA ANGELO ISN'T IN THIS AREA!
