Today wasn't a zero-income day; at the very least, I gained a Devil Fruit.
When I sell it on the black market, I estimate I can buy a good ship.
"One hundred million Berries!"
Hearing "one hundred million Berries," Nami's eyes immediately turned into the shape of money.
Her eyes constantly scanned Ron, as if searching for something.
"Let's go! We need to catch up with Luffy!"
"My apologies, but for now, you'll be my navigator!"
"I'll pay you 20, 000 Berries as a reward afterward!"
Ron narrowed his eyes and said to Nami.
20, 000 Berries was already considered a high price in the navigator industry.
"Please feel free to command, Lord Gluttonous Wolf, wherever you say, we'll go!"
Nami said fawningly.
…
"Mr. Ron, you're finally here!"
As Ron's ship docked, Coby came forward.
Coby's face showed some anxiety as he quickly ran towards Ron.
"Where's Luffy?"
This was somewhat stating the obvious; clearly, that guy wouldn't wait for him to act together.
Ron roughly knew where that guy had gone.
"Mr. Luffy plans to invite that pirate hunter, Zoro."
"Mr. Ron, please try to persuade Mr. Luffy, that man is a devil!"
Coby quickly said, his face filled with uncontainable worry.
But Ron's appearance gave him some backbone.
"Roronoa Zoro, I know him!"
"The Three-Sword Style swordsman, quite famous in the East Blue!"
Ron nodded. He had been worried about him stealing his thunder before.
But there had been no news for nearly a month.
As expected, he was locked up here.
"Mr. Ron, quickly stop Luffy-san!"
Coby, knowing Ron was aware of Zoro's reputation, quickly urged.
"It's fine. After all, I can't be the only combatant on the ship!"
"Let him go, don't worry about him!"
Ron waved his hand and said.
"Huh!"
Coby looked at Ron in shock.
Hadn't they already become companions?
Why did he seem so indifferent now?
"You must be looking for treasure, right!"
Ron looked at Nami, who was standing beside a sack.
This guy still hadn't given up.
Even on the ship, she tried to sneak some treasure from the sack.
But she was caught red-handed several times, and she still hadn't given up now.
"Of course!"
Nami said as if it were obvious.
"In that case… here! This is your reward!"
Ron pulled out two stacks of Berries and placed them in Nami's hand.
"In that case, we'll meet again if fate allows!"
He mentioned the treasure on the ship and walked towards the Marine branch.
Coby quickly followed behind, glancing at Nami.
Though he didn't know where this woman came from,
she must be the navigator Ron hired.
"You scoundrel!"
Nami stared furiously at Ron's retreating back.
She had originally thought this man would share half the treasure out of gratitude for her guiding him along the way.
But she didn't expect him to actually only give her 20, 000 Berries.
Those 20, 000 Berries probably weren't even one percent of that bag of treasure.
…
"Is that so?"
"This must be Zoro!"
Ron stood on the wall, looking at the man tied up.
He wasn't very interested in what had happened here before.
He was just here to meet up with Luffy and then truly test the simulator.
It seemed Luffy had already handled most of the matters here.
"Yes, that's Zoro!"
Coby said with some fear.
As soon as he finished speaking, he realized Ron was no longer beside him.
He had appeared directly in front of Zoro.
"Get lost!"
Zoro slightly raised his head, looking at Ron with coldness.
He could feel the killing intent emanating from Ron, seeping into his bones.
This man in front of him might be from a pirate crew he had previously annihilated, seeking revenge.
But he had a lot of guts; this was a Marine branch.
"Is that how you talk to your vice-captain!"
Ron didn't mind, saying with a chuckle.
"Boom!"
At that moment, a violent collision sound came from inside the Marine base.
Ron and Zoro simultaneously looked inside.
They could clearly hear roars.
"You're with that guy?"
Zoro frowned and asked, how could it not look like it?
He had observed Luffy earlier and felt like he was an idiot.
He was completely the type who wouldn't listen to anyone, which was somewhat unbearable.
Yet, he could recruit such a strong person.
"That's the captain!"
"It looks like you've reached your limit!"
"Do you want me to untie you first?"
Ron didn't make a move first, looking playfully at the green-haired man.
"…"
Zoro's forehead was covered in black lines; he was certain now.
This guy in front of him was definitely with Luffy.
Neither of them seemed like good people.
This guy, in particular, was full of malicious fun.
It seemed he would be very pleased as long as Zoro was tied up.
Being on the same ship with such a guy in the future!
It felt a bit ominous!
