Eutostea, the third princess of Thebes, is visited by the mysterious guest calling himself the God Apollo in bed. In pitch-black darkness, only an outline of him said, “I have come to share a one-night love with you. Once the night passes, you will not remember me, nor shall we meet ever again.” Soon, the three princesses band together to reveal his face while he is sleeping. But the candlewax melts off the tip of the candle in Eutostea’s hand and falls on the god’s shoulder. Apollo wakes, grabs the second princess, declaring, “Princess of Thebes, admire to your heart’s content. ‘Tis the face of the mere shell you sought so dearly.”

After the wedding, we entered the bridal chamber. It was decorated decently for the newlyweds by the Hyperboreans in a short amount of time.


It was impressive how they were able to prepare the room so delicately given the time constraint. The two Hyperboreans who were not seen during the wedding ceremony likely played the main role in this work.


I was very pleased with the bridal chamber, especially since our first wedding ceremony was held on an island with only the ocean and sandy beach. So, it was almost grateful to have a private space with furniture, including a bed and tables.


The bed was adorned with a white feathered blanket and an ivory shade canopy hung in a Y-shape above it. Two golden candlesticks, each with elegantly burning white candles, stood tall on each side of the bed.
