Chapter 95 - A Predator's Justice, A Rival's Ploy

Julian's POV

The stench of fear rolled off Victor Sinclair in waves as I stood over him in the darkened alley. Blood had soaked through his hastily applied bandages, and his eyes darted wildly between me and Daniel Reed, who had dragged him here on my orders.

"Alpha King Valois," Victor croaked, his voice trembling. "This is a misunderstanding—"

I silenced him with a look. My wolf paced inside me, hungry for retribution. The night air felt charged with violence as I circled Victor's crumpled form.

"I specifically warned your brother," I said, my voice dangerously soft. "No one touches what belongs to me."

Victor tried to scramble backward, wincing as his injured head hit the brick wall behind him. "I don't know what you're talking about—"

"You attempted to assault my Luna."

The words came out in a low growl that made even Daniel step back. I wasn't shouting. I never shouted when truly angry. True rage required control.

"No! I swear I—"
