Chapter 122 - CHAPTER 122 — “Where Did the Blood of the Evil God Go?”

The air was still buzzing with the tension of battle when the Lord of Ravenshade finally understood what had just happened. He stared at the massive creature standing behind Ethan, its shadow stretching across the shattered ground like the wing of a dragon.

Only now did he realize… that terrifying creature was a summoned beast.

His mouth twitched.

"Wait… so the boy in front of me was not the one punching me just now? That monster was?"

He touched his nose—well, what was left of it. The bone felt like crushed stone under his fingers. He quickly uncorked a healing potion and gulped it down while glaring at Ethan.

"You brat," he muttered angrily. "If you had such a powerful summoned beast, why didn't you summon it earlier? Did I get beaten for nothing!?"

Ethan shrugged helplessly. "It just completed its bloodline evolution. Otherwise, I would've called it out long ago."

Of course, Ethan wasn't going to say the real reason—that the evolution came from the drop of Evil God's blood, the same drop that nearly warped his own body. Nor would he ever confess that he had been "alienated" by absorbing that same dangerous substance. That secret would stay buried forever.

More importantly, the drop of blood was something the butler desperately wanted. That alone told Ethan that it must be unbelievably valuable. Which meant only one thing—

He would never admit he still had it. As far as anyone else was concerned, it was destroyed.

The Lord of Ravenshade sighed when he heard Ethan's explanation. "Makes sense. There's no reason you would hide something like this if the butler was trying to kill you. If you had the beast ready earlier, you would have used it."

Then under his breath, he whispered, "Tsk tsk… these two big shots are really willing to invest in him…"

"What was that?" Ethan raised a brow.

"Nothing!" the Lord said quickly. "I'm going to check on Old Tu. I wonder if he's still breathing."

He hurried off, completely unaware that his assumptions were wrong. No "big shots" had given Ethan this creature.

It had been created—grown—by that single drop of Evil God's blood.

---

Earlier, when Ethan placed the drop of blood into the material box of his alienation talent, the system instantly gave him an option:

> "Hint: Do you want to perform Infinite Alienation?"

"Reminder: Current compatibility is low. High risk of negative effects."

It was the first time Ethan had ever seen such a warning, so he panicked slightly and quickly threw his summoned beast, Dao Zai, into the Beast Royal Space first. Surprisingly, the moment it entered the space, the beast's mind cleared. It regained full sanity instantly.

This shocked Ethan.

Could it be that the Beast Royal Space automatically removed negative mental states? If so, that was a priceless discovery—but he had no time to test it now.

He had already promised the Anti-Bone Boy earlier that he would strengthen it, so he placed the creature into the alienation box and chose "Yes."

This time, the system did not warn him about low compatibility.

Instead, it simply announced:

> "Alienation in progress… estimated time: 10 minutes."

Ethan's heart pounded.

It was the first time any alienation required time.

This usually meant only one thing—

A massive power-up was coming.

Sure enough, while the Lord of Ravenshade was fighting the butler, the process completed.

> "Alienation successful!"

"Gold-ranked Ant-Killer → Diamond-ranked Dark Chimeric Ant King."

Stats increased dramatically."

Then came the full list:

+120,000 Power

+80,000 Constitution

+20,000 Agility

+10,000 Spirit

+8,000 Armor Penetration

+8,000 Penetration

New Attributes: Darkness, Giant Strength (Green), Absolute Crushing (Gold), Devour (Blue), Death Devour (Gold).

Ethan nearly dropped the panel from shock.

Absolute Crushing alone was terrifying:

If the enemy's power was even slightly lower, they would be instantly overwhelmed. No equal struggle. No stalemate.

Just pure domination.

And Death Devour was even scarier.

By stabbing its tail into a foe, the beast could absorb flesh and blood, healing itself instantly and storing spare life energy—up to ten times its normal health. That meant 800,000 extra health ready to be burned through in battle.

Against anyone below Legendary rank, it was basically invincible.

And by setting Ethan's "damage transfer" to funnel harm into the Anti-Bone Boy…

Ethan could stand still and survive a full five minutes of attacks from the butler without lifting a finger.

But Ethan noticed something strange—

The Anti-Bone Boy had grown a tail.

Originally, it possessed a weak poison-based skill called "Trace Toxin," which disappeared after strengthening. Now Ethan understood why: the ability had evolved into the monstrous Devour and Death Devour.

But the surprises didn't end there.

> "New Skills: Form Transformation (Diamond-exclusive), Dark Death Light (Gold)."

Ethan's eyes widened.

Form Transformation meant that once a summoned beast reached diamond rank, it could take human form while keeping the same combat power.

A humanoid Dark Chimeric Ant King…

Now that he wanted to see.

He briefly imagined his queen ant and queen bee evolving into beautiful human forms and immediately shook the thought away.

"Nope. Not allowed. Don't even think about it," he muttered to himself.

Still… he secretly decided he would only choose female Zerg-type beasts from now on.

As for Dark Death Light, the description alone was chilling:

> "From the horn on the forehead, fire a beam of darkness that destroys everything. Damage scales with power."

Everything?

Ethan swallowed. That probably meant it could melt mountains.

---

When he checked Anti-Bone Boy's updated stats, Ethan nearly fainted.

Summoned Beast: Diamond Rank — Dark Chimera Ant

Power: 130,923

Constitution: 82,346

Agility: 20,186

Spirit: 10,090

Special Attributes: +8200 Penetration, +8100 Armor Penetration

Skills: Absolute Crushing, Devour, Death Devour, Destroy, Break the Army, Form Transformation, Dark Death Light

Combat Power: 9999 Stars

9999 stars.

He stared.

Was he about to break a million soon?

Everything felt unreal. This was just one accidental alienation—and the results were absurd.

With this power, Ethan could crush nearly every fourth-rank professional without difficulty.

And it all began with the drop of the Evil God's blood… the one he now pretended no longer existed.

---

Meanwhile, rescuers managed to pull the bearded master out of the collapsed mountain alive. When the butler finally disabled the dangerous time-bomb he had created earlier, he approached Ethan and said gratefully:

"Good job, Ethan. Thanks to you, we're all safe. That summoned beast of yours is incredible."

Then he suddenly asked,

"By the way… where did the drop of the Evil God's blood go?"

Ethan froze for a heartbeat.

Then he smiled.

"It was destroyed."

Whether the butler believed him or not was another question entirely.
