Lana pulled over in front of Andrew's building, a soft sigh escaping her lips.
Before she could sit down for long, think and probably change her mind, she gave her bag in the passenger seat a final glance and stepped out. Twirling her car keys in her hand in her attempt to be as natural as possible, she walked towards the building, took the elevator and in no time was in Andrew's apartment.
"You're back," he sounded excited to see her as he opened the door to allow her in. "You didn't tell me when you left school. Why? You didn't want me to drive you to the mansion?"
"I just didn't want to be a burden," for now she was being honest. "Having you drive me to my husband's house and back every day is a lot. I couldn't impose it on you."
"You could," he sweetly said. "I don't mind. I told you I don't want you being miserable."
"Mhm, yeah, thanks."
