Lana's phone buzzed twice, signifying two new messages.
Only a couple of meters away from the cafe, she paused her steps, sliding her car keys into her bag as she took out her phone instead to slide it unlock.
One of the messages was from Andrew. The other from an unknown number.
Drew: Where are you? You didn't call me last night. You didn't show up in class this morning too…
Unknown number: Hello, Lana.
Ignoring the strange message, she typed a reply to Andrew.
Lana: Something came up this morning.
Lana: Are you still at school?
Before he could reply her, another message came in from the unknown number.
Unknown number: It's Thomas Frane.
"What?" Lana commented out loud, staring at the message. "How did he-"
Once again, he sent another message before she could reply.
Unknown number: Shall we meet to continue our discussion?
Literally immediately, a new message from Andrew also came in.
Drew: Yeah.
Drew: Wanna meet up at school?
