After even more time people started arriving. The first were his guests, Bonney, Ginny and Kuma.
Ars saw them approaching and greeted them.
"Hi, thank you for attending our party. Follow me, I will introduce you to the queens."
Ginny decided to represent them, and answered politely following etiquette.
"It's our honor to be invited to the party, your majesty."
Kuma just smiled and Bonney was distracted by the sweets and foods on the tables that were being brought by the maids.
When Ars paid close attention, he could see that it wasn't just Bonney, Ginny was stealing glances from the food too, she was just hiding it better.
Ars couldn't help but laugh. Seeing that she got caught Ginny smiled a bit embarrassed.
Ars then started to lead them to his queens, and quickly introduced them.
"Some of you might already have seen them or know them previously, but for the ones who didn't, this is Bonney, Ginny and Kuma. And these are my queens Elia who you already met before, then we have Olivia, Kuina, Bell-mere and finally our new family addition Reiju."
The queens quickly pulled Ginny and Bonney to talk, while driving out Ars and Kuma.
Ars and Kuma could only look at each other and smile awkwardly.
So they went to a small bar where Dawn was serving as a barmaid. When they arrived, she questioned them about their drink choices.
"What can I get for you lovely gentlemen?"
Ars raised his eyebrow, smiled and then teased.
"I would like a, safe sex on the beach."
She looked at him shocked and confused.
"Sorry, I didn't quite get it properly, and if I did, we wouldn't serve that here…And I'm complaining to my sister."
Ars smiled and laughed, before commenting, faking a very shocked expression.
"You don't serve mocktails? And do you serve cocktails?"
She looked at him, embarrassed, before answering Ars.
"We do, but I never heard of those names…"
Then she did something that left Ars sweating cold sweat.
"Sister, he is bullying me…"
Elia, couldn't help but come and look at Ars, her look screamed, what are you doing?
He couldn't help but explain the situation.
"She offered to get us something and I asked for a strange named mocktail, and that's it."
Elia then looked at her sister, who explained her side.
"He asked for a safe sex on the beach."
Elia couldn't help but to laugh, there was indeed a mocktail by that name, but she was also pretty sure, he requested this one to tease her sister. She could only confirm Ars' words.
"There is indeed a mocktail by that name, but I'm pretty sure he chose that one on purpose… You know his personality…"
Ars acted like he was very hurt, and clenched his chest.
"Hooo, the betrayal…"
Kuma at these interactions with a smile, he was starting to get that Ars was quite different from what he expected, he thought he was a serious type but instead he was playful when he wasn't doing business or talking about something important.
Ars stopped playing around, and commented.
"You can give me any drink you can make, don't worry about it."
Kuma also looked at Dawn, before ordering.
"You can do the same for me."
Ars looked at Kuma and asked something he was curious about.
"I'm curious about something. Do you regret not finishing your business when you could? I mean no offense, but the way you handled things was… For the lack of better words…Idealistic… I would have killed Bekori…"
Kuma looked thoughtful, he realized that Ars was right… No… He knew it from before… He tried to handle Bekori with the lowest amount of bloodshed possible, but later on that came back to haunt him…
Even now with Bekori not causing anymore problems, he still thought what if one day he goes back with the help of the world government, and causes more suffering.
Until now it didn't happen, but what about in the future… He could only hope. His answer was concise.
"Sometimes I do, but most times I have better things to do than to think of him…"
Ars nodded, and they talked about more random stuff.
Finally after a bit more time, the other guests to the party started arriving.
A bit later Ars could see Bonney and Ginny devouring food at a quick pace, while Kuma just stood there, after already having finished his meal.
Olivia and Kuina were also there walking with them, but they seemed very shocked by the amount of food those 2 were consuming.
The party went on for a while and after a few hours, when the majority of guests started leaving and the party ended.
Around a week later, the first ship was finished, Ginny and Kuma, using the new one and the one they arrived on, left, intending to come back to pick the other ships later.
Life quickly returned to normal, as it used to be, with the exception of Reiju sometimes spending the night with Ars, like the other queens also did.
Ars was already thinking about it before, but seeing everything going well, he decided it was time to evolve himself a bit further again.
He had a huge amount of options for the new super powers or transformations.
He started eliminating some he considered redundant for him, if he thought they wouldn't do much for him in the long run… they were removed from the list.
Ars realized something, the great majority of akuma no mi samples were from either paramecia or zoan types.
Originally Ars was very interstate in zoan types, because of their ability to transform. Now he had enough samples to create his own zoans, at least the normal and ancient ones, and while he couldn't create a mythical one yet, he could give 2 abilities, one form a zoan and one form a paramecia… Creating a pseudo mythical one.
The mythical ones were hard since to create one he needed a blood sample from the said animal, or rare species. And it was very hard to find such in the word, if not impossible.
In the case of the ancient ones, he still could find a few islands with such inhabitants in them, for example Little Garden.
Ars was now trying to create a single ability that would allow him to transform into any animal, it would take a few tries but he was pretty sure he would get there in a not so far future.
For now he would focus his attention on the paramecia, the kaze kaze no mi and finally the germa upgrades.
He checked his possible evolutions on the main computer, chose a few and entered tube 1.
This time he did remember to turn the sleep option on, well it was more like an induced coma, but sleep sounded better.
The machine got to work and Ars fell asleep.
A few days later, Ars came out, and went to check all of his stats.
His body had improved from 20.4 to 23.9, his mind went from 9.9 to 12.2 and strangely his willpower that he didn't expect to improve had improved from 4.2 to 6.1.
Ars was very confused about the increase of his willpower, he started thinking about it, and he reached the conclusion that his willpower was already at 6.1 before he entered the machine, he simply didn't notice it.
On the super powers… Well he thought about it, and instead of saying super power, saying the bloodline abilities would be more accurate, after all, these super powers were genetic and would be inherited by his children… Maybe not all but a few of them at least.
There were 2 new additions, from the samples that contained, the blaze blaze no mi that allowed the user to create and control extremely hot fires, the netsu netsu no mi that allows the user to emanate heat from their body and the Atsu Atsu no Mi that allows the user to create and control pure heat with a maximum temperature of 10,000 degrees. The last 2 combined to make a single ability.
Absolute heat control, that allowed the user to, emit, create and control any heat on the surroundings.
After that with the cold types, unlike before, only one ability emerged. The Freeze Freeze no mi that allowed the user to create and manipulate ice, the Kōru Kōru no Mi that allowed the user to emit cold from his body and the Zoku Zoku no Mi that allowed the user to transfer cold to his surroundings, including the living.
The new ability was called ice cold domain, and allowed him to emit, create and manipulate not only cold but ice.
Finally the last 4 he chose were the life life no mi that allowed him to give life to any thing in contact with himself, the germa enhanced physic that increased all his physical stats by a small percentage when in a fight and its Exoskeleton, and finally the Kaze kaze no mi that gave him the elemental intangibility normally seen in logias, with the addition of the ability to control wind much more precisely than before.
His new skills obtained from the last group were, Life granting, improved stats, exoskeleton, Elemental intangibility, and wind control.
He was very excited about trying to create life with his skill, so he tried to create a small bird made of ice, but failed horribly, his ability to control and create ice still sucked...
Ars smiled proudly, he finally completely surpassed normal humans, even calling him a whole new race wouldn't be wrong anymore.
He knew that in the future, he would become less and less human with each evolution, but considering each time came with a huge upgrade in strength and extraordinary abilities, he was pretty fine with that.
And unless he actually used his skills, his appearance was no different from a human, and even if he used them most people would attribute it to an akuma no mi.
He teleported himself out of his laboratory and went to meet his queens, it was a bit late in the day, being close to dinner time.
It didn't take long for him to meet them, they were in the living room, talking with each other. When they saw him they all greeted him and Olivia asked with curiosity.
"Did everything go well?"
Ars nodded, showing a playful smile, before replying and inquiring for any unusual.
"Everything went alright, and I even got a few new abilities. And while I was gone did something important happen?"
They all shook their heads and Bell-mere asked him.
"When can we get a few abilities?"
Ars smiled and replied warmly.
"Soon, let me just train for a few days and after that I can let you choose 1 or 2 abilities that you would like, so you can acquire them when you evolve yourselves next time, which in this case will be pretty much instantly after you chose."
Kuina now was curious about the reason they needed to wait for a few days, so she looked at him and inquired.
"What are you planning that we need to wait a few days for?"
He smiled and replied with a straight face.
"It's a surprise, so I'm not telling."
They all laughed.
The maids soon after came to inform them that the dinner was ready to be served, when they wished to eat it.
They all quickly got up and went to eat.
Once Ars was done with the meal he went to check his desk for the work that got delayed while he wasn't available.
He inspected the documents, and started working on it.
Pretty much all of them were about budgets for projects on the island, and he quickly authorized them all. The last 2 documents were different.
Of those 2, the first was from Tom and Oak, it was about the money they received for the completion of the ship. Ars quickly read it and archived it, since it was only meant to inform him.
The last document was a request from the mermaid mother and daughter, who were living happily with Tom. At first they were afraid, both of Ars and the humans around, but after interacting with Tom and a lot of people on the island, they now liked to live here and didn't want to leave anymore.
That led to this request, they wanted to let the people they knew in Fish-man island, that they were doing fine.
Ars decided that it was better if he talked to them personally.
