Later, on a different day, Ars received the message that Reiju was finished with her evolution, so he entered the laboratory and quickly let her out.
When she came out, she realized that the world now was so different from the one before.
It might be from the fact that her perception had increased, so she was seeing things differently. Or it might be the huge jump in potential, in body and mind. Or it could also be the possibility that her father experiments while not taking away her emotions, it took something else and now she had it back.
She didn't know and neither did Ars, but honestly they didn't care. What mattered, was what she felt, and right now she felt amazing.
Ars smiled at her and asked warmly.
"Now, should we go meet the rest of the family officially?"
She looked at his eyes and smiled gently, something she didn't even know was possible for her. And finally nodded.
Ars took her to meet all of his other queens, and they all welcomed her happily. They already expected it, considering they gave her permission to ask him. But now they wanted to welcome her to the family properly.
Ars shook his head and explained.
"I know you are excited to have a new sister, but before anything else I will introduce her to Koral and the medical department as their new superior. After that you can take her away and welcome her properly."
They all showed a pouty face at him, and Ars laughed, there was something adorable about 4 lovely ladies pouting at him.
He looked at Reiju and said calmly.
"Sorry, but you need to get introduced to the people who are gonna work with you, after that you have free time to do whatever you want."
Reiju looked at the other queens that nodded, and Bell-mere, commented.
"I think that once you come back we will have a party, to welcome you to the family."
When everyone heard that they all looked at each other and nodded with their eyes shining, suddenly there was a good motive to have a party with their family.
Ars smiled at them, and added.
"In that case, let's do this instead. Let's invite everyone who is close to us and make it a bit bigger."
Everyone started getting a little excited for the next few hours.
They all nodded and started getting to work, while Reiju and Ars went to meet the medical personnel.
Ars and Reiju slowly walked towards the clinic, the place where Reiju and her subordinates would work in the future.
While they walked they kept talking about random stuff, and when they arrived they quickly someone and Ars asked him.
"Can you call all the other personnel in the clinic? We will wait for you near Koral's room."
He nodded and left quickly.
Both of them moved towards Koral's room, where she was creating a few medical potions. Ars knocked on the door and Koral without looking back replied.
"Come in, I'm slightly busy for now, but I will be with you in a few minutes."
Both Ars and Reiju stood there in silence with smiles on their faces, especially Ars that was already hoping for a fun reaction.
A few minutes later Koral finished and looked behind her, and when she did, she showed a surprised reaction, but then a happy one. But Ars got disappointed, and his face showed it, Koral and Reiju laughed at him, and he complained.
"You made me wait a few minutes, the least you could do was show me a good shocked or scared expression, so i could justify having waited completely silent… But no, just a happy surprise…Disapointing."
Koral laughed even harder at his words, and then played along.
"I'm so sorry for making you wait,, your majesty… Ho no what have i done, i made you wait for a few minutes…Hoooo…. The Horror… I hope you find something in your heart to forgive me for not realizing that I'm in your presence…"
Ars rolled his eyes at her, but then he informed her.
"Wait a bit more for everyone to gather, since I have an important announcement for everyone."
She smiled, looked at Reiju who nodded at her, then grabbed her hands and congratulated her.
"Congratulations Reiju, I hope you're truly happy from now on."
Reiju smiled kindly at her and answered.
"Thank you, and me too."
They both laughed and hugged each other.
Ars smiled and before the other medical personnel appeared, he added.
"One more thing, before everyone arrives and I make the announcement of your new superior, there is gonna be a welcome party for Reiju today and you are invited, hope you can participate in it."
She nodded and replied.
"I would love to participate in it, I will make sure I go, but can I bring my little girl?"
Ars nodded and said calmly.
"Of course! The queens will also take Risa and Rika, with them for sure. And it's a family and friends kind of party, so you don't even need to ask that, they will probably love to meet her again."
Then he sighed and made a small addition to the previous conversation.
"I'm pretty sure that young children are more welcome than me most of the day. I mean if I interrupt them when they are having girls talk I get scolded by them, but the little girls get hugs and kisses."
Both Reiju and Koral laughed hard at that. And Reiju made a light comment about it.
"No offense, but it's impossible for you to compete with them… They are far cutter…"
Ars laughed and nodded, before commenting.
"Yeah i know."
Shortly after, the medical personnel started to arrive quickly.
Once they were all there, Ars started with Reiju's introduction.
"Some of you might already know Reiju, but for those who don't, this is Sora Reiju, and she will be the queen in charge of the medical related fields, in other words, from now on she is your future highest superior. And Koral will be the clinic director."
Koral couldn't help but shout, surprised by the sudden official promotion.
"Eh?? When did you decide that? And couldn't you have informed me of it before?"
Ars looked at her smugly, and replied.
"I realized a few minutes ago that officially promoting you was the way to go, after all you are already acting like one, so might as well give you the title to match it."
Koral wasn't dumb and quickly realized the truth.
Ars was probably thinking of it before, but still didn't warn her because he was holding this for a special occasion or something like that, but since she didn't give him the expression he wanted before, he decided to force a reaction out of her this way.
She could basically confirm this by the very smug and pleased expression he had plastered on his face.
It wasn't just her, while the newer personnel didn't get why Ars face was so smug and pleased, but the older ones already had realized it too… Their king was this kind person after all, always trying to get an interesting reaction out of people when in certain situations…
The medical personnel all approached and congratulated both Reiju and Koral.
When everyone was done, Ars started to leave and said to Koral.
"I will see you later."
Reiju followed him back.
On the way home she suddenly asked something that surprised him.
"Do you think my father regretted his decision to kill me?"
Ars thought about it, and nodded before answering.
"Probably… Even if he considered you inferior or even defective since you had your emotions, you still were a powerful asset… He probably tried to kill you in a moment of pure rage since you nearly died from a storm, due to your emotions."
She corrected him.
"Nearly died in a storm from protecting a mother and a child, who remembered me, of my brother Sanji and my mother…"
Ars didn't know the exact history until now, he just knew she had stopped to help someone from a comment she made randomly in the past, he nodded at her.
"Make sense, in his eyes, his weapon nearly got killed by a storm, because of emotions he despises, he got angry because of it so he tried to dispose of the weapon, but later on when he calmed down, he probably realized he did a mistake, since even then, the weapon still helped a lot on his ambitions."
Ars then stooped, looked at her and added.
"But if you are asking if he regrets it because you are his daughter, then no… I don't think he did."
They arrived at the palace shortly after, where the other 4 queens quickly dragged her with them, to try on the dresses for the party.
The maids came to Ars to ask what foods he would like to see, the queens already had chosen theirs, now it was Ars turn.
But Ars didn't care too much about that, for him as long as there was meat, he would be happy.
After confirming with the maids he quickly decided to change his clothes ahead of time too. He went to his room where the maids and the queens had already chosen a few clothes for him.
"They even gave me options…"
Ars normally would only pick the first fancy looking suit he could find and use it, but today he was going to use one of these.
They let him choose from 3 sets. The first was a set mainly white and light blue in some places, the second was mainly black with some red, very similar to the first, only with different colors, the last one was the classic black and white.
Ars decided to go with the first. His reason was simply because he normally would prefer to use darker colors, so using a white suit would surprise more people.
He quickly got dressed, and went back to the Ballroom, a room that he barely noticed existed until now, it wasn't the only room he even forgot existed, it was just one of them, but someday he would discover all the rooms in his palace… Well… If he needed them he would.
Almost an hour later his queens came out dressed with similar dresses, but with slightly different coloration.
Elia wore a sapphire blue dress, Olivia a black dress, Kuina wore a light pink dress with some green, Bell-Mere a dark red dress and Reiju was wearing a white one.
Ars approached them and praised them.
"You all look beautiful in those dresses, my lovely ladies."
They all smiled and Olivia replied.
"You don't look so bad yourself."
Finally Bell-Mere added.
"We are beautiful, we look good in anything, we make even the dullest clothes look good."
They all laughed, and Ars nodded, before agreeing with her.
"Inded you guys look good in anything, even with some clothes missing in my room, you still look amazing."
They all blushed, but laughed anyway.
They all went to a side of the ballroom where a lot of comfy seats were. They all sat down and started talking about the random stuff, much to the surprise of Reiju, she couldn't help but to ask.
"Wouldn't now be a good time to talk about the kingdom? Since the guests haven't arrived yet."
Ars explained calmly.
"First, everyday we dedicate one hour to that early in the morning, So no need to do it now. Only in emergencies do we all group, outside the specific hour, so if we group later is to relax and chat with each other calmly."
Bell-Mere added.
"Besides that, this is supposed to be an informal party with family and friends to introduce you to them. So today what we're gonna do is relax with those people. No work tonight, unless we absolutely need to."
While they were talking, the maids brought Risa and Rika dressed up in cute dresses. They had woken up from their nap a bit before and were dressed quickly by the maids with the clothes chosen by the queens previously. Olivia decided to introduce them to Reiju officially.
"This is Risa and Rika, and they are our adopted daughters, and when I say ours that means yours too."
And Elia introduced Reiju to them after.
"Litle babies, this is Reiju and she is gonna be one of your mothers too, why not give her a kiss to welcome her?"
They both smiled and gave a kiss on opposite cheeks. That made Reiju basically melt. Though Ars wasn't sure if the little girls understood what was happening.
