Fierzy eyes showed some surprise for a brief moment but went back to the calm facade she was trying to show, he could see a bit of hope deep into her eyes.
Ars then looked her in the eyes "And i can see why he didn't want you to be near Lily, you are a danger…" Before he could finish she came flying at him trying to attack him, just by watching her eyes, he could see her hatred, anger, despair between other negative emotions. He dodged, kicked her away and before she managed to get back up, sat on top of her back, and then continued "…For her and for yourself, you're also a bad influence on her and other people around you, especially children….. In short, you're a source of never ending trouble for what I could watch until now."
She, not being able to properly defend herself in this position, started thrashing around, hoping to create an opening for her to escape, but Ars simply grabbed her Arms behind her back with one of his hands, and stayed like that for a while until she was exhausted from trying to escape.
Since she couldn't escape she tried to look at Ars so she could scream and curse at him, but when she saw Ars face she froze, what she saw in his eyes, was not what she expected, she thought she was going to see lust and excitement, yet what she saw, made her feel like she was worthless, in his eyes there was only pity and contempt.
She was shocked, she expected him to use this position, where she couldn't defend herself, to force himself on her, but instead he was looking at her like someone would look at a cockroach. She knew she was attractive, the amount of people that tried to pursue her in the past, the people that tried to attack her and the people that tried to get grab on her assets were not just a few, before she proved herself to be explosive, violent and strong enough to fight most common people, the number probably reached several dozens.
Yet, now that someone could easily assault her and she couldn't even resist, was looking at her like she was worthless, and someone he wouldn't want to touch if possible. She also knew she was a bit messed up in the head, she knew some of her actions could be considered close to insane and she tried to stop herself but she couldn't most of the times, but at this moment she thought 'I'm not the only one who seems to be messed up…..'
Ars was looking at her, annoyed by how dumb she was, had she forgotten how easily he dominated her before "You know… Oak asked me to come pick you up, so you could stay with your daughter… So your daughter had a family member with her after he was gone…. And I kinda accepted his request, because I agreed with his vision, but until now, you didn't show any proper behaviour, you were always loud and rude…. And I'm starting to think, it might be better to not take you… Because with all that you showed until now, there wasn't a single time that I thought that you deserved to have this opportunity if you did something, it was the exact opposite, and only made me think you didn't deserve this…"
She opened her mouth to answer, but Ars put his free hand over her mouth and stopped her " So let me summarize, you represent a danger to yourself and people around you, your behaviour is a bad influence on people, your rude when people are trying to help you get a opportunity to be together with your daughter, your explosive and prone to violence, and considering you would be around children, and spend even more time with your daughter, those bad traits could influence the children and especially your daughter negatively….. " Ars stopped talking and looked at her eyes that were now full of tears, he let go of her arms and mouth, got up and went back to his seat.
Ars looked back at her, who was now still laying on the ground weeping madly, like the end of the world had arrived. "So give me one good reason for me to take you with me…"
She didn't get up, she moved on all fours while sobbing uncontrollably, and grabbed Ars shoes.
Ars was about to kick her away angrily, thinking she was about to try to pull his feet and cause him to fall as revenge for before, but before he could she made something that surprised him, white she didn't let go of his shoes she kneeled in front of him, Ars looked at her, sighed and was going to pick her up and make her sit on one of the chairs, when she started streaming "I'M SORRY… I'M SORRY… I'M SORRY…. PLEASE TAKE ME WITH YOU, I PROMISE I WILL BEHAVE, I PROMISE I WILL BE A GOOD GIRL…. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH ME BUT PLEASE TAKE ME WITH YOU… I WANT TO SEE MY DAUGHTER AGAIN… IF I MISBEHAVE YOU CAN PUNISH ME… I WILL OBEY ALL YOUR ORDERS, AND I WILL DEFINITELY CHANGE AND I WON'T BE A BAD INFLUENCE… I JUST WANT A CHANCE TO CHANGE AND BE ABLE TO SEE MY DAUGHTER AGAIN, TO SEE HER GROW… TO BE THERE FOR HER WHEN SHE NEEDS ME… I WON'T EVEN CURSE THE OLD MAN AGAIN…. I KNOW WHY HE DROVE ME AWAY AND I WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME I JUST DIDN'T WANT TO ADMIT IT, BUT GIVE ME A CHANCE AND I WILL SHOW YOU I CAN CHANGE AND BE A GOOD MOTHER!!!!"
Ars felt bad, seeing her with her defenses completely broken and filled with despair. She was still persisting on going with him, and begging non stop for a second chance, Ars admired her persistence a bit. Ars looked at her, grabbed her and put on a chair in front of him.
She kept looking at the ground, so Ars gave her an order "Look at me!!" she still didn't lift her eyes from the ground, she was terrified of the idea that he wasn't going to give her that chance she desperately needed, almost like she thought that, by not looking at his eyes, her odds of him giving her the opportunity increased .
Since she wasn't listening he got up a little bit angry, he grabbed her face with a hand and forcefully lifted her face, now her eyes were directly looking at his eyes and he said "Not at the ground, i gave you a simple order, and you already not following…"
"I'm sor…" she was going to apologize again, when Ars stopped her.
"When I give you an order, you follow it. Some people might not need to follow my orders so strictly, even in my city, but you, for now would be better if you did. After all, with your personality it is likely that you will cause problems… And before your tiny smooth brain says something stupid, I'm gonna spell it for you… " Ars approached his head from hers until his forehead was touching hers, "I'm going to give you that chance but you better not mess it up, because if you do mess it up, i'm not giving you anymore chances understood??"
She at first was trembling non stop, she felt almost like breaking apart thinking he was going to refuse, but when she heard he was going to give her a chance, she tried to get up and hug him, only for him to force her to sit down again. Then she broke in tears again but this time from happiness, then she looked at him and nodded.
Ars kept looking at her and then asked "So we both have a deal, don't disappoint me!"
"I will not, I promise! Any order I can accomplish, I will do it to the best of my abilities! And my complete name after I got together with Lily's father is Fierzy Cinders , I'm 20 years old, and from today onwards I'm a changed woman."
"One more thing, I want to be able to keep an eye on you, at least for the first months, you will be part of the guard group, and you will be living with me for that reason, and the length of that time is fully dependant on you, so you won't be living with Lily straight away, you will be able to see her and interact with her, but she still won't be staying with you, understood?"
She was a bit reluctant about that but nodded.
Ars opened the doors from the captain's cabin, just to see all of his men and the marines all trying to listen to what was going on inside. He looked at them with half closed eyes while having a scary smile on his face, questioning them "Really?? Nothing better to do other than eavesdropping ??"
The marines looked ashamed of themselves, but at the same time happy that the troublemaker was leaving with a good person. After all, while she was a huge troublemaker, she wasn't evil or anything like that. On the other hand His men were ashamed, but even more scared… Since they were the ones who might face punishment from Ars.
Ars looked at them, closed his eyes and rubbed his temples before declaring "Get ready to depart… NOW!!"
His men split into 2 groups again, and started to prepare for departing, and the marines just left and waved goodbye at them with happy faces.
After that, they set sail for one of the kingdoms nearby, that most likely had refugees due to extreme poverty, something that sadly wasn't too difficult to find due to the heavy heavenly tribute they had to pay each year to the world government.
People in small recently developed kingdoms or kingdoms with dumb nobles, didn't stand a chance, and were often sold as slaves by the kingdom, always in the dark to slavers so they would be able to pay the tribute, and in the worst cases, straight up killed the civilians that couldn't fetch a good price. Thanks to that, kingdoms like those come and go fairly fast, apparently there was a kingdom not to far, that in 10 years changed the ruling family several times, and each time it happened, different rules appeared, the name of the kingdom also changed, and was considered a new kingdom by the world government everytime that happened.
In short, it was a nightmare for people who didn't have much.
