"Looks like I underestimated you before," the Hoshikage said, noticing that Kusuo's swordsmanship was no longer as simple as before. Each slash could easily take down a puppet. "Are you provoking me?" The Hoshikage's brow furrowed. He waved his hand, and Natsuhi and the others were immediately caught in a chokehold.
"Hatake Kusuo, you should leave! He's immortal now!"
Immortal? A corner of Kusuo's mouth twitched, but the blade in his hand didn't stop, slashing in front of Natsuhi and the others.
The Hoshikage laughed wildly as he formed a hand seal. The dragon in the sky suddenly spat a chakra ball at Kusuo. Seeing the attack, Kusuo's eyes tightened. A Tailed Beast Bomb! He knew this "Star" was formed from the power of the Ten-Tails, but he never thought a summoned beast created from its chakra could also use a Tailed Beast Bomb.
"Sun Breathing, Thirteenth Form!"
With that, Kusuo raised his blade and swung it at the dragon in the sky. The Hoshikage's eyes showed a hint of contempt, but in the next second, a massive collision rocked the heavens. A massive burst of fire appeared behind the Hoshikage, blasting him from the air to the ground. The summoned beast in the air also began to fade, no longer possessing any aggression.

Hearing this, Kusuo's lips curled. The only one in this world who could be called a god was that guy Nagato. The Hoshikage from the original story had never shown any world-shaking abilities, so Kusuo had no fear of his strength. "Just a dying struggle." But he didn't let his guard down.
