In the stands of the arena were Odin, Frigga, and their respective thrones, with guards at their sides. In the other stands were Thor's friends and fellow citizens who had come to support him.
"Very well, since everyone is excited, it's time for the demonstration of power. Thor, the God of Thunder, against Goku Black, the strongest. Begin," said Odin.
"Come on, Thor, defeat that Midgardian and show the power of Asgard."
"Of course I will, just watch," replied Thor, looking toward the stage where his friends were.
"It's good to be confident, but I'm not like the weaklings in the stands," said Goku Black smugly when he saw who was speaking.
"Take that back. They are all warriors who have fought side by side with me," said Thor in an annoyed tone.
"Then it's thanks to you that they're still alive," replied Goku.
That was the last straw, and Thor lunged at Goku and threw a punch at him with a quick movement of his arm.
Goku, seeing this, raised his guard instantly, and the moment the punch connected, he felt an overwhelming force that sent him flying against the wall.
It was total destruction. A large part of the wall was destroyed, and several cracks spread across the floor. A cloud of smoke formed, and nothing could be seen, but then laughter was heard.
"HAHAHAHA, THAT'S RIGHT, I LIKE THIS PAIN. IT WILL ONLY HELP ME BECOME MORE POWERFUL," said Goku with a smile as his arms trembled with pain.
"It's time to get serious," muttered Goku.
Then everyone felt a powerful and overwhelming burst of energy appear and clear the dust from the arena.
Goku Black was surrounded by an aura of dark and overwhelming energy, and it was clear that the human had increased his power and strength.
"Wow, so you weren't lying when you said you were strong," said Thor, amazed to feel such pressure from a human.
"And you'll be even more surprised because that's not all," said Goku as he struck a pose.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH..." Goku shouted as his negative aura grew and expanded rapidly.
Odin was surprised to feel such power coming from a human and growing so drastically.
"I think the Midgardians have changed since the last time I observed them," Odin said.
Then he watched as Goku's hair began to rise as if defying gravity. Green energy could be seen emanating from his mouth and eyes, and his hair began to change color.
"HAAAAAAAAA," he shouted at the top of his lungs as he expelled a lot of energy.
Then, after he transformed and caused a lot of dust to rise, Goku Black's new appearance was finally revealed.
His dark green hair, several strands rising upward defying gravity, and his aura of energy radiating a dark green color.
"I call this transformation Super Black Phase 1. I hope you can handle my new level of power, I don't want to hurt you," Goku said with confidence and arrogance in his voice.
"It sounds very pretentious to name it after yourself. I hope so, that way I won't have to hold back completely," Thor said.
He finished saying that and Goku teleported behind Thor. His reaction was quick, but Goku's kick was quicker and sent him flying, completely destroying the wall.
"Sorry, I usually just fight and hardly talk," Goku said smugly.
"You weren't lying, that blow was very powerful. I admit it, Goku, you impressed me, so to make up for it, I'll show you my power," said Thor as he called Mjolnir while the sky began to darken.
"Wow, looks like there's going to be a storm," said Goku.
As he watched Mjolnir arrive at Thor's call and small lightning bolts begin to form around it.
"I think it'll be a good fight," said Goku as he watched the lightning bolts and used his Energy Mimicry ability.
